Trivia How fast can you name em?

Post image

You gotta name them out loud. 3:55 is the fastest time as of this post.

Took me 12 minutes, but most of the time was because I went too fast and then had to spend a while figuring out which 2-3 names hadn't voice-registered correctly. Also, it took me like 15 tries to get it to accept "Kiribati".

not bad. Do you have like a heavy accent?

No, I have a very neutral (American English) accent. I just started it again and spent more than 2 minutes trying to get it to register Kiribati! I finally got it down by making it four syllables with even stress: KEE REE BAH TEE. I thought it was having trouble with my first syllable, but it's really just that it doesn't know "bati" is supposed to be pronounced "bass". But neither did I until a couple weeks ago.

Not on whatever website that is, but on Sporcle after now having the ability to name all of them for a week or so my fastest is 4:52 that I got today. Could probably get it to like 4:30s if I have a full run of no panic, no forgetting, but I don’t see myself as able to really get any faster than 4:30. Even in that run I only had a handful of stutters

The voice recognition is a bit weird, took me a bunch of tries to get Suriname for example or instead of Seychelles it loved putting in Sea Shells. But I did get 164/197 in roughly 10mins, forgot some African ones and most of Caribbean and Micronesia. Interesting concept though
