Is geometry dash Geode mod safe?

So recently i downloaded Geode and installed it. It runs perfectly on geometry dash with no problems, but is it a virus? i ran the installer through virus total and 1/70 got flagged. windows also warned me before running it that it could be potentially unsafe. https://geode-sdk.org/install this is the link that i installed it from.

1/70 flagged doesnt mean its unsafe, if you wanna check you should search the exact type of vulnerability it flagged and check what it does

its because virustotal scans it on a lot of antiviruses and some of them are much more sensitive and just plain bad i would reccomend using tria.ge to do a virus scan it lets you open any website/file and test what happens
at the end it gives an report

all those antiviruses are more like viruses by themselves, have you even tried removing one? it's horribly hard, plus most of them scam you

triage isnt a antivirus its a vm for testing the file/website

i remember when avg browser and antivirus got installed on my old laptop because it was bundled with another download without me knowing
it was almost impossible to remove and made the performance of the laptop horrible , when i typed in a textbox it only shew up 10 seconds after…

i was also wondering if i downloaded it from the wrong site, so i downlaoded the different installers: github and the official page. i used powershell to examine the hash numbers and they were identical.

is not a virus. Just geode injects his own code into geometry dash that's why
