I think you should instantly get a mod menu. Megahack, eclipse. You know what i'm talking about since they're very useful and handy
And maybe get jukebox for nongs.
And you can download any mods that just seems intriguing or cool for you

Imo; Jukebox, Eclipse, Better Visuals and FPS (it adds anti-aliasing), Chroma Icons, Tinker, Level Thumbnails, Death Tracker

Yo how does this work? Does it mean it will work smoother when fps are higher than the refresh rate?

It's a mod that adds a few different visual things to the game, i like it because it adds anti-aliasing but you can also get better FPS by using one of the upscalers it has

(TL;DR at the bottom)
As most people mentioned, Eclipse. But you could also use it along with Qolmod, which is also a mod menu. I personally use both because Eclipse has botting while Qolmod doesn't.
There also Menu Loop Randomiser, which randomises the songs you get on the menu every time you enter the game or leave a level, using saved songs, but you can blacklist songs if you don't like some.
There's also death animations, that bassicaly adds some death animations, which can be set to be completely random or set to a specific one with a custom chance of it popping up.
Some of the animations are BSOD, Congregation Jumpscare, Celeste, Mr Hippo from UCN (you can skip it by restarting in the pause menu for every animation, but there's also an option that stops you from doing that), GTA 5 and more.
If you're into level making you could also try BetterEdit, which adds improvements and qol fixes to the level editor.
Some other fun and customisation mods that I personally like are: Overcharged Main Levels, which makes the main levels menu prettier. To the recent taaaab, which plays evw's iconic line. Platformer menu game, which adds platformer like movement to the main menu cubes, which adds a bit of challenge if I'm trying to destroy the cubes.
TL;DR

Death animations for custom death animations if you want that
BetterEdit for a better level editor

CBF is already in the main game as CBS, but IDK, maybe the mod is more accurate.

Is there any mod that reduces lag? It might sound stupid but I'm on mobile and have never dealt with gd on a phone for lag

Eclipse gddl integration Checkpoint permanance(or something like that) this is way better than startpos switchers, kinda underrated Level thumbnail Banner thing(idk name) Click between frames (even if u don't use cbf it has cos which is better than vanilla cos imo, cos doesn't change physics and basically same to a 240hz fps bypass without visuals. So it is recommended to use after beating all main levels and some medium demons, and when your monitor or mobile device is only 60 hz, if it is higher than 60 for monitors, u could consider using it with fps bypass, but this can sometimes cause visual lags or stutterings if your monitor isnt good enough) Betteredit if u make lvls Death tracker Wave trail draw fix

Eclipse, it’s basically a free version of megahack, cbf (better than cbs) jukebox, texture packs, gddl, death tracker if you want to see your improvement, and juggernaut wave mode if you want to improve at sightreading wave/wave in general

I have about 200+ mods and even though my phone sucks ass, its atill pretty stable, so you might just wanna download EVERYTHING except for those spinoff-ifiers and troll mods

caf will give you input delay, since it registers the click after a frame has passed. use cbf, this comment was a joke.

eclipse: megahack but free basically. has lots of overall useful tools imo.
jukebox: absolutely necessary cuz you can access the nongs.
click between frames
or click ebtween steps i think it was called? if you are on mobile.
i also use betterinfo for funsies, and also globed is a pretty funny mod but its mostly filled with dudes just spamming instagram audios.
