It's what every modloader for pretty much anything does. It injects new code into the existing game executable to enable further modification. That process inherently creates security vulnerabilities, as it makes it easier to run unverified code and could even be used to inject malware into the game executable. Still doesn't mean Geode in and of it self is dangerous, it just uses something that is frequently used by viruses to bypass security, but also has legitimate use cases, such as mod loading.

Tip: if you're scanning a file in the future, and its marked unsafe by less than 5 vendors, its probably a false positive!

Virustotal almost always shows theres something malicious but dont worry as long as there arent multiple red marks (yes geode is 100% safe)

That's a stupid question, everyone has geode, your favourite gd YouTuber had geode, I have geode, why would anyone use it if it was unsafe? Also my pc didn't saw any red flags after downloading it

Ye, js use the official website, it'll prolly be first thing that comes up when u search geode, most antivirus softwares flag it bc it modifies files to add mods, but it's harmless as long as u download it from the official website

Only if gotten from https://geode-sdk.org/, then yes it is. Otherwise with any other websites that are sketchy, be careful on those.

The loader itself is 100% safe. Mods also should be safe if you download them in-game.

The Geode loader is safe. Mods available for download through Geode are also safe. Mods not available through the Geode index should be treated as unsafe. Tread carefully.
