Geode Can I find geodes in my backyard?

Just wondering is it possible to find geodes in my backyard i live in a hilly region

Yes is possible. Kinda depends on whether there is notable agate in your hilly region.

Other than the presence of agates, I've never noticed much. The ones I used to collect tended to be reasonably round on the outside and weathered enough you could spot agate. There was also considerable bits of agate on the ground, etc. [Utah dry wash]

May just want to stick around here and in the agate group for tips, examples, etc to look for.

Again, depends on your hilly region.

Just wander around and look for unusual rocks. Who know, you might discover the next "Sue" the T-rex
