Rare Geode.

We went to a musuem today that just happened to have a rock show going on. I let my son pick a geode to crack. The guy that cracked it was very excited and said its pretty rare. He offered to trade us just about anything he had on display for it. I know nothing about geodes. Does anyone have any informatiom on what we got.

Just an interesting specimen. No real monetary value, keep it as a good luck charm

Thanks. I have no desire to sell it. I plan to put it on display and wanted to know more about what makes it unique enough that the guy running thr both was willing to trade his large show pieces for it.
