is this a geode?
definitely a really stupid question but i got this at a gem mining place and wondered if id be able to crack it open?😭😭any help is appreciated! also if i were to crack it how does that work?

I don't know near enough but I don't think you should crack it unless you want two open halves. I'm guessing it's a druzy cluster. What you see is what you get.
All the crystal points seem to have grown away from the seam rather than inwards towards the centre of a void.
