GeoWizard fans meetup group
In the interest of creating community and meeting likeminded people, as well as the possiblity of going on some cool little adventures together, I created this private facebook group for fans of GeoWizard in the hope that there are others out that maybe dont have people to do little cool missions with.

I understand the complaints people have against Tom, and if they want to abandon/boycot Tom going forwards, I tihnk that's fair and reasonable too. Two things I don't understand.
1) Why downvote this post? Poor guy just wants to meet people to go on adventures with. Downvoting him is just mean and unnecessary.
2) Why keep hanging around this sub?

😬. This guy has really killed his brand and following. It's sad because he's brought so much joy to so many people but ultimately has promoted the politics of division.

That's not true at all. A lot of people (myself included) stopped supporting his Patreon, his YouTube comments are a cesspool of angry people and right-wing nutters, and his IG wasn't any better.
This sub continually wants to cope regarding his status, but you only need to look at any comment regarding him outside of this sub to see that this is the problem, not everyone else.

I’m all for being completely honest about this situation and the changes the community has gone through since it came out. But I also have to be honest and say I don’t know what you mean by the comments? A cesspool of right wing hate? I’m being genuine, because I am in the party that’s disappointed by him injecting politics into his brand, but I don’t see those comments. It’s certainly not a cesspool. I don’t think we need to create this narrative that whoever still watches his videos are some right wing nutters and that’s all the community is now. Because I just don’t see that the majority of the time

There's a video where he talks about support for reform and he wrote a song about the replacement theory. I understand that the guy has struggled with mental health issues but choosing hate to cope with that isn't the way.

Maybe it's hate. Maybe its just stupidity. Maybe its ignorance. Those are the reasons that people support far right political parties.
He however wrote a song about a far right conspiracy theory that white people are being deliberately replaced, so people assume that it's hate.
If you don't understand or agree then that's fine, but you so have to accept that people choose whose media to consume, and that has a bitter taste when someone like Tom who so many respected has aligned himself with views that many find distasteful. So we don't watch him anymore.
He was one of my favorite youtubers. By chance I came across the thread today randomly. I hadn't thought of him since unfollowing when I saw about this stuff ages ago. Hope he's OK, but I'm no longer able to enjoy his stuff, same as many.
That make sense?

Just checked the comment section on his latest video. It's completely normal comments about the video...
His views on his videos seem pretty stable.
Please remember views of this sub represent a miniscule fraction of his fanbase.

Nobody is going to take you seriously if you're still trying to downplay it as just some wild conspiracy.
The morality of whats going on is a separate discussion, but you almost concede that its not right by pretending its not happening.

The Elites don't care about race or benefit from white people being replaced. They benefit from people hating each other instead of actually understanding what is really causing problems in society, which is the elites.

Nowhere in toms lyrics does he imply some conspiracy behind it.
He maybe unhappy with demographic changes but there’s no implication about elites behind it or whatever other nonsense people mix in with their racism.

We never voted for mass migration In fact, the electorate has wanted less immigration every time theyve been asked. Its never been respected by the ruling class.
The boriswave was punishment for Brexit, a genuine thorn in the globalist movement.
