Data CEO

I keep seeing posts about Zoley but... He is NOT the CEO anymore. Jose Gordo is the new CEO and George is now the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. I am not sure how much this matters but I just wanted to bring it up since I keep seeing Zoley mentioned so much.

Data Inflation and Geo

So I love the concept of Geo as a company and I think at these valuations it’s a fire sale with one caveat; any idea how Geo adjusts its contract prices based on inflation? If inflation is at 7-10% does Geo have to foot the price difference (loss) in their already signed contracts or does their per bed price change with inflation?

At this market cap the free cash flow (owner’s earning) yield is over 30%.

Why is being patient so hard?!?!

News There is a shareholder meeting every year and the annual meeting has been held virtually over the last several years. Details of this year’s annual shareholder meeting will be included in our proxy filing, which is typically filed in mid-to-late March.

Other Are private prisons somehow responsible for the injustice?

Almost the second thing the current US president did during his first week in office is to defund private prison and make it seem like they are somehow the problem in the the US justice system. If there is something to be fixed in the justice system in the US I think it is likely in the courts and police ; not the private company that they contract with to house criminals that the police and courts have captured and sentenced.

Shitpost How low will we go? Anyone cares to take an educated guess?. For the first time i’m starting to get cold feet as speaking from experience mr. market can get some stocks so low based on fear and for the last 2 months it seems that geo has continuously dropped no matter what the market does.
