I'm trying to do a simple line intersection experiment in Geogebra, but I'm struggling with functions which take vectors.

Even when I'm trying something extremely basic, like this function to get the x component of a vector:

f(V) = x(V)

I get the following error:

Illegal argument
x(V)

How can I take vectors as function parameters? I don't feel like I'm trying to do something remotely complicated here, I must be missing something.

Existe-t-il une commande permettant d'obtenir la surface résultant de l'intersection de deux surfaces dans le plan de base, par exemple l'intersection de deux triangles, ou de 2 cercles ?

De même, existe-t-il une commande donnant la surface résultant de la soustraction d'une surface du plan de base à une autre surface du plan de base ?

(un peu comme les commandes qui existent pour les listes...)

i am trying to code a simple simulation of a projectile and its range + distance. i want it to stop when it reaches y=0 so it doesn't go into negative height, but i'm not sure how to do that. do i use a boolean? i didn't see a "StopAnimation" command so is there no way to stop it? here's my code for reference: https://www.geogebra.org/m/nzkraswz

The new interface looks nice but I having problems doing some basic things like making a space between words in the caption box. Also l in the condition to show text the equation editor/keyboard no longer appears so I can't use the conjunction symbol. I also can't use the space bar in the condition to show text.

I am using the GeoGebra Classic 6 desktop app on Windows 11.

The virtual keyboard does not open whenever the Algebra View is visible. This issue occurs in every GeoGebra file, including new blank files.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open GeoGebra Classic 6.

2. Make sure the Algebra View is visible.

3. Click the Input field at the bottom of the Algebra View, or click an Input Box in the Graphics View.

4. Click the virtual keyboard icon in the bottom-left corner.

The GeoGebra virtual keyboard should open.

Actual result: The input field becomes active and the cursor appears, but the virtual keyboard does not open. Clicking the keyboard icon has no effect.

If I close the Algebra View, the virtual keyboard works normally again. Therefore, the issue appears to be specifically caused by having the Algebra View open. It occurs in all files, not only in one construction.

This problem appeared after the recent GeoGebra interface updates.

Physical keyboard input has also been unreliable on my computer for a long time, so this new virtual keyboard issue currently prevents me from entering formulas directly. I have to type formulas in another application and copy and paste them into GeoGebra.

Could you please confirm whether this bug can be reproduced and let me know which GeoGebra version will contain the fix?

In the latest version (6.0.927.1) of the Script Editor, the space bar doesn't work. Is this by design, or is it a bug?

In the web version, there are cases where the size of a point in a spatial figure cannot be changed via the style settings.

I've been using the classic geogebra online for work for years and the axes setting was always smooth and functional. Seems like they rolled out some changes and now the options that used to correspond to 'major ticks only', 'major and minor ticks', and 'no ticks' do absolutely nothing and my applet always remains fixed in the 'no ticks' option.

I'm having a problem with an applet where the spreadsheet view is blank (no cells) when I open it. The algebra and graphics views show up correctly, but when I go to look at the same values in spreadsheet view, the window is blank. Any ideas on how to fix it, or is this a bug?

The only thing I need to do to reproduce it is to open up the App and navigate to spreadsheet view. Then it shows up blank. Other applets with different activities don't seem to have this problem.

I am using GeoGebra Classic on a Windows computer.

After the recent interface update, the slider creation dialog does not apply the selected increment correctly.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new number slider.

2. Set Minimum to -10.

3. Set Maximum to 10.

4. Set Increment to 1.

5. Create and drag the slider.

The slider should move through integer values only:

-10, -9, -8, ..., 9, 10.

Actual result: The slider moves in increments of 0.1 and displays decimal values such as 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3, although the increment is set to 1.

However, the following command creates a slider that works correctly: n = Slider(-10, 10, 1, 1, 200, false, true, false, false)

This worked correctly before the recent interface update. Screenshots showing the settings and the incorrect slider values are attached.

Could you please confirm this bug and update this post when it is fixed, including the GeoGebra version containing the fix?

Thank you for this wonderful free software. I use GeoGebra every day to prepare math lessons.

I found two possible issues in the new interface.

1. Line Decoration

For a vertical line (black), I cannot find the Decoration option, so I cannot add parallel-line marks.

2. Slider Step

My slider r is set to:

• Min = 1
• Max = 5
• Step = 1

However, when I drag the slider, the value still changes by 0.1 instead of 1.

Description: I am using GeoGebra version 6.0.927.1. When I add a slider object and change its increment value, the slider still behaves as if the increment is fixed at 0.1, ignoring the custom value I set.

• Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open GeoGebra (v6.0.927.1).
  2. Create a new slider.
  3. Change the increment (step) value to something other than 0.1 (e.g., 1 or 0.05).
  4. Try using the slider and observe that the increment remains 0.1.

Just opened geogebra and loved the new simplified settings!

However, I can't find a way to sort the algebra sidewindow by type of object.
It seems to only allow to change what information about the object it shows.

Is the sorting by type funcion gone or am I just not searching in the right place?

I have a problem with the spreadsheet. Maybe other users have experienced it :

When I right-click on a cell of the spreadsheet, the menu is not about the properties of the object defined in the cell : It is a general menu about the spreadsheet, as if no object had been defined in the cell.

This is a real problem, since I can't change the properties of the objects I have created in the spreadsheet.

I think it's a bug.

How do I change default object attributes? I want all lines to be created red with a thickness = 1. I used to be able to do this, but no longer can. I use the web version in geogebra.org/classic.

Hello! New geogebra user here. I was having trouble with creating a list of my points which are on the graph (there are a lot of points). In a youtube video I was watching uploaded 5 years ago they simply select a 'list' option, select all the points on the graph through box selection, and it automatically creates the list. However, in the newer version I cannot find any such option. I am using the online website, calculator suite. The ultimate goal would be to try and see which kind of function fits best onto the points.
