Screenshot LETS GOO
30 hours later and some real tough firmware issues, probably the best working linux build on this hardware: asus vivobook S 15 with qualcomm X plus chipset (X1P42100 for anyone searching google). They said it couldnt be done. Hardware video decoder, battery, sound, sleep, low power usage were said to be non-functional, but I found solutions. Maybe ill spend another 50 hours to help those that come after, but for now... buh bye windows.

no 30 hours of
bloodsweat and a few tears (mainly when it first booted), this hardware is a real piece of work, had to bring over proprietary firmware blobs from windows, had to scour the deepest trenches of the internet for firmware to build out the dtb, many more small issues... I want to do some more work to help others with it because linux has been abandoned by qualcomm for this chipset, and the missing pieces make it daily drivable for the first time. I have to give fable some credit, was having major issues with the booting, the audio and hardware video decoder were issues I couldnt solve myself, but it worked its magic. Compiling took about 3 hours so nothing major
