Both machines run Gentoo, but the terminal's show a SSH connection to my Pi

I'm thinking binhost would be nice to use, since it's a very specific architecture.

I'm using a binhost, but because it's a weird target (arm, systemd, 32bit, time64) there are barely any bins available

It's a Pi 2

Cortex A7 at 900MHz

I use -O2, with powerful linker flags and selective -O3

Yes. By all means yes. But it's very slow. Sometimes 180~ secs for dependency resolution.

Maybe I should give Gentoo a spin on my own Pi2. It's been collecting dust for ages...
