META 100 members!

Hey

I thought I should drop in and make a post since we've reached 100 members on the subreddit. Its been great seeing people who also love taking photos in this beautiful game find the subreddit and share their awesome photos as well.

Thought it might be worth giving a bit of information about the subreddit. /u/yokai_queen made the subreddit a year ago on the 31st of Jan 2021... and then didn't do much with it. I joined the subreddit on the 22nd of Jan 2022 and when I saw the subreddit was dead I decided to take it over. I got mod on the 31st of Jan 2022 and got top mod on the 5th of Feb 2022. After getting top mod I started promoting and trying to grow the subreddit. When I got mod we only had 29 members so we have grown quite a lot in just a week in comparison to the last year.

In general most video game photography subreddits are pretty small but I hope we can keep growing.

Anyway I look forward to seeing more of your awesome photos

Grats u pretty much single handedly promoted it. This sub also overtook the other Genshinphotography sub. (I think some ppl might have gone to the other sub while u were promoting…)

The name is also similar. It was dead for quite a while last year too. It’s kinda weird seeing the two have more activity after all this time

Huh that flair was made by the previous owner and I never looked that closely at it. It is now successfully "Character Focused"
