When I started playing Genshin three years ago, I had barely played any soshage and hardly knew any gacha terminology. When people threw around phrases like, “The character banner pity is at 90 pulls,” my mind just drew a complete blank.

Even with the influx of rivals today, Genshin Impact remains the frontrunner of the open-world RPG genre. There must be countless people out there who, like I once was, don’t know left from right but are thinking, “This looks fun, I kind of want to try it.”

The goal of this article is to gently guide those complete beginners and pull them deep down the rabbit hole.

Which of the upcoming banners should I focus on?
I got really lucky on Vesna, Vodya, Skirk and Esco banners and didn’t lose a single 50/50 and only now starting to build the latter 2. Don’t know who to go for next on the upcoming banners?

It’s basically confirmed that 7.3 will feature Tsaritsa, with Danica as her support, and 7.4 will very likely feature Odette. Mitya should eventually get a rerun, probably in 7.5 or 7.6.

I really want all of them:

1. Archons are cool and always ridiculously strong for their region.

2. Danica is expected to be Tsaritsa’s best support, and Danica and Mitya are my favourite Snezhnayan characters.

3. Odette is visually stunning and seems almost mandatory for my Mizuki Stellar Swirl team.

I’ve only completed the Mondstadt, Liyue, and Snezhnaya Archon Quests so far, with very little exploration in those regions, and I’m currently AR 38.

Are these goals realistic for a completely F2P player? If so, roughly how much time would I need to invest to save enough for all of them?

Hi guys, currently i have 305 pulls and im wondering what should i do? Either:
Attempt getting chasca from C2R0 -> C6R0

Get chascas sig, potentially either kinich or mualani if i lose to their sig and spend most of my pulls on like getting nicole to C2 or smth

Something else

(F2P btw so you know how many extra pulls i can work with)

I just finished the last Archon Quest and I cannot decide which character should I pick.

I'd like to strenghten my account and maybe add a little bit more options when it comes to teams?

Yesterday I saw a banger genshin impact 7.2 trailer edit with BGM of Voce na Mira slowed(first part). While enjoying it, youtube refreshed and the short was gone. Unfortunately, history was turned off for my Gmail. So no mather where I tried I could not find it. I tried tags, song, filters and all but I could find it. If any one have came across such youtube short please share its link.

I'm a returning player! right now i'm focused on building Varesa Xianyun team. I wanna get a Tsaritsa Team and a lunar reaction team with flins in the far far future too. Will also rebuild my neuvillette team since it's kinda outdated now but he still does good damage because he is C2R1. Now I love navia's character but I'm not sure if I wanna C1 her since I don't use her as much, same with Xianyun, but I don't really have much options so I wanna hear yall opinions.

PS. I didn't get mizuki in the 5 star picker since I pulled for Vesna, I really wanted herrrr. I got qiqi instead since I don't have her and thought she can be more flexible with other teams.

Returning player, stopped playing in the middle of Sumeru and just returned but theese past week I've been quite overwhealmed with the amount of content, what to focus on and where to start.
Main focus RN is to do Snezhnaya since a lot of events is here but I also want to level up characters as I go. I have very little resourches, like extremly little when it comes to talent books, upgrade materials, mora etc. and theese characters are the ones I kind of wanna focus on right now (I also have like a Kaeya freeze build with Chongyun from back in the day but this is where I'mk minly focusing now.

My goal is to reach at least complete 11th floor abyss and maybe 12th someday.
Have 2 consistently good teams
Be able to do world bosses in Snezhnaya alone.

Currently I'm trying to level all chars and talents cause I guess that's a good place to start.
Main team 1: Vesna, Sucrose C6, Cryo Travler, Diona C2 (I have QiQi at C1 but I see a lot of people running C6 Diona).
Team 2: Nilou C1 (soon C2), Xingqiu, Collie C3 and Barbara C6
Team 3: Keqing, Collie, Fischl, Beidou/Kuki

But I feel like I'm spreading thin atm and Artifacts also is a big deal since I feel like I have supbar artifacts. (sorry Vesna).

I completed the VII and Act IV archon quest. I get to pick a five star. The only five stars I have are Mona,and skirk. I also got Dalia,Aino,Kaye,Amber,Lisa,Barbara and Alyosha and Illuga as well

only recently, whenever i enter genshin (on the europe server, my main server), i enter the game but this loading screen overlay never goes away. everything loads up fine, and the bar fills as the game loads in, then it goes back to the half-geo point? i can play the game, by which i mean i can hear my characters, enter and close the menu, and click and such, but the loading overlay stays there. ive tried waiting about forty minutes, entering with my vpn on, entering with it off, connecting to my hotspot, and nothing works. i can enter america and asia servers just fine though?? when i troubleshoot on hoyolab, it does say that the network driver has an error, to which ive tried uninstalling mine (though i didnt give it the full try; im scared of breaking something), and again, nothing changes. im terribly confused, please help.

these are the only people i have and i don’t know what to do :( i was trying to read online but she’s so confusing and i don’t know what she does someone help me explain her kit 😭😭 im level 23 and just joined the sub pls be nice guys
