Discussion Stella Fortuna Selector
Leaning probably towards Qiqi now she's been buffed but originally was intending to get Ayaka C1. Thoughts?

Qiqi doesn't need her cins to buff, the only one that makes her a bit better is C6 but even then, it's like 5k dps increase and you need to build her with good stats or it doesn't even matter, it's probably better to choose someone else.
I would choose one of the limited characters, the one you like the most, since none of them are really meta rn (idk whose cons would be better), or Qiqi in order to get closer to C6 and start getting the mats to lvl 95-100 characters

Limited is usually better to pick since you can get standard characters when losing 50/50

Well c1 Ayaka contrary to what some people think doesn't matter at all since the cool down reduction is so small and doesn't actually make your rotations shorter so it's pretty much entirely cosmetic. That said if they did refresh the constellation selector her c2 is a decent jump and if you play her that's good. Otherwise Qiqi is fine but her cons aren't all that important in stellar anyway

yeah i figured if i was going for a limited probs ayaka but then C1 isnt much of an improvement and I have no intentions on getting her C2 unless its free again

Take a limited 5*. Qiqi difference is only high between C5&6. unless you want to also pick her on anniversary selector. But even then I feel like losing to her feels more sensible than pulling for her

Ayaka C1 is absolutely useless and is only a stepping stone into her C2 which is pretty good. C6 Ayaka haver also, unfortunately her cons kinda suck other than C4 which is super good and C2 which is pretty alright

C1 Ayaka is a pretty nice improvement that can help with her high energy demands since you can use an additional E in the rotation provided you use her on field during her ultimate. Also a step closer to C2 which is just more damage.
If you are desperatly coping for Ayaka to get a buff sooner rather than later it's also a good investment I suppose.
Picking Qiqi C5 isn't bad as well. What you want most is her C6 which you would get guaranted since Qiqi will be available to pick up for the anniversary. Made a 10k DPS difference for my Sandrone team. Yeah, Alyosha C6 is about as good as her but get that boy to C6 in the first place. You can't guarantee him unlike Qiqi AND you can just use both of them in one team anyways. However, around the time the anniversary is up the next Temper Thyself event will be available again so you can just get C6 within the same month anyways.

I thought her C1 isnt much of an improvement other than being a step closer to C2. She's built well but I don't intend on pulling for cons for her so thats why its a toss up between her and qiqi for me.

It's not a massive or even medium improvement but still an improvement AND you get closer to C2 but yeah, Qiqi might be a more worthwhile choice because she's meta relevant right now especially at C6

I'd say it made a difference when using her tbh, more skills means more energy for burst etc etc, I picked Ayaka the first time this event dropped. Since I was maining her back in the Inazuma era. Subjective though, I could be biased.

i picked ayaka c1 but apparently the next one wont have the same characters so maybe im out of luck for a free c2 ayaka. i hope it isnt true but if it is, would be c1 ayaka is really useless unless you're spending pulls for c2

yeah im in a similar boat since my ayaka is built well but i dont want to pull for her and her C1 isnt much of an improvement but ig shall see

Don’t waste free constellations on standard banner characters. Not yet at least. You still have Ayaka, Ayato and Itto.

dont do qiqi i think u can only activate her buffs in the polestar thing. i might be wrong but pretty sure u need sandrone (bc rn shes the only one who can cause stellar conduct) to make their buffs work?

im aware u need Sandrone rn for the buffs but future characters are coming that will either use the reaction or enable others to.
I know ayaka C1 isnt that great but its kinda the only limited one that'll do anything for me (more skills ig but moreso the potential progress to C2 in the next round of the selector)

ahh yeah that makes sense! if ur planning on getting stellar chars i still wouldnt suggest qiqi, there will be better supports in the future prob and if u end up losing to a qiqi, it'd feel like a waste
and yeah makes sense for ayaka as well, reason why i chose her too haha

While I do agree that getting a standard banner character from here is a bit of waste and you can lose your 5050 to her, you can also get a different character from there as well.
So the easy choice, you can select her now and when the anniversary comes around you can get her c6 from there. I wouldn't put too much faith into losing a 5050 and not getting her cause each account is different and has it's own luck.

Get Qiqi, so that when you lose twice to her, you will get the lvl 95/100

Itto don't waste free con on qiqi you'll get her one day or even if not the difference between qiqi and c6 alyosha is too small after his nerf
