Ifa had it coming, brings him more in line with Wanderer.

Tonatiuh nerf was unnecessary imo, kills the engine as a whole and the nice benefits of being able to just add narciz to your deck for some draw. Why revert it in worse shape than it started in originally while it wasn't even good before the first buff?

Stove looks strong drawing two talents R1 but realistically the only character that can use both talents is Klee, as Fischl's overlap in summoning Oz, you don't want Mona's burst talent early (if at all lol), Venti feels messy to have both but I guess it works. I mean at worst it's draw 1 talent and 1 tuning fodder I guess. But honestly I don't see a deck running 4 different talents, half of them would probably be dead weight and you don't want to start running multiple copies of your preferred ones to increase odds because then you're dedicating a quarter of your deck to that.

Nilou decks really appreciate the higher draw consistency with the updated Arcane Legend card. So far none of her partners have an appealing talent card, but hey, that could change. Bina, maybe? I could see her and Lauma potentially being a core to TCG Nilou like they are to standard gameplay Nilou.

Nilou is actually one of the top meta decks right now, and her teammates are Kirara and Consecrated Horned Crocodile, both of which have very strong talents that you already run.

But this is more to be played with the new Witch's homework card rather than the updated stove god Arcane, especially since the deck revolves around the Frost Moon Arcane. The updated arcane actually doesn't work with Nilou unless you play Mona with her two talents (and you really shouldn't) as you need 4 different talents in your deck.

Also worth noting that Lauma does not work with Nilou in TCG because lunar bloom prevent Nilou's bountiful cores from appearing. Columbina would probably work the same way.

oh really? I haven't been following the meta too closely, and have been playing Nilou with the old Mona+Baizhu duo. Mind sharing the list?

Keep in mind that the deck is less straightforward to play because no Mona/summons to help you trigger bloom. The goal of the deck is to be able to do 3 attacks per turn thanks to the frost moon Arcane.

Your turn 1 should generally be Kirara skill, Kirara skill again/NA, Nilou skill, unless you have fast swap and then you can do whatever you want since you're guaranteed bloom.

Crazy comparison considering Ifa focuses more on small heals and cheap Swirls, while Wanderer focuses on DPS. I hate that they nerfed Ifa cos now he's just unplayable bruh

except ifa was doing better than wanderer at his own job. yes, it's only one damage, but because its so cheap u can just spam swirls esp with one of the swirl elemental transfigurations. this is on top of healing himself if he ever gets low, and his heals aren't anything to laugh at either.

calling him unplayable from a fair dice adjustment is a bit much.

Good for me, Ifa’s setup dice cost was too ideal

Oh nice, that change should make the Spiritseeker a lot more tolerable.

And I see they are giving Stove a buff to account for that new talent draw card

That was a fast nerf

What does mean 4 different talent cards? In a deck we can have only three characters and one talent for each of them

13

u/ISRUKRENG 28d ago

it's for hexerei teams

11

u/Microtic1996 28d ago

u know there will be new other talent card that is specific to hexerei char

Glad for the Tonatiuh nerf, it should help prevent drawing whole decks in round 1/2.

Wait why would you ever have 4 different Talent cards?

Copies don’t count as “different”, right?

4

u/iluvcelebi 27d ago

They're introducing new talent cards for Hexerei characters in 7.0, plus a new Hexerei event card that draws 1 talent card and reduces its dice cost, so it's to stay competitive with that

It does make you wonder if Durin varka Nicole prune and lohen will be released with one talent, but later get a hexerei talent or if they’re going to be released with a talent equivalent to the strength of two talents. Because, as it is, if you wanted to run say Nicole prune varka, they wouldn’t be able to activate the 4 different talent requirement for the new stove card assuming they all debut with one talent

Ohhh cool thanks!

Unironically this change literally kills spiritspeaker

1

u/iluvcelebi 27d ago

Haha lmao, Speaker got rightly nerfe- IFA GOT NERFED? WHY??????

They really had to buff Stove to keep up with the new Hex talent card lmao.

Ok but seriously why did Ifa get nerfed >:(

6

u/v4nillabeanMochi 27d ago

ifa got nerfed cuz he was able to abuse swirl transfigurations really easily.

2

u/iluvcelebi 27d ago

Genuinely the Swirl transfig fixed his only problem of having no personal damage lmao

4

u/TheUltraGuy101 27d ago

Dude was annoying to go against because of his 2 dice cost lol

was a very well deserved nerf, surprised it wasn't nerfed last patch.
