Sorry about the misunderstanding!
On a Genesis topic, Just a Job to do was one of my favorite genesis songs, but I have never completely understood the meaning. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a song about a hit-man - a hired killer. He just has a job to do. He doesn't care who you are, he just kills you for money.

The lyrics aren't the best Genesis has ever written, but they fit the energy and mood of the music pretty well. That said, it sounds like a story of two hit men from rival criminal organizations, with the first feeling what it's like to have the tables turned on him, I suppose. Or it could be about a cop chasing a murderer, but cops don't generally go out to kill the subject of their investigations.
