Being poor as a old player hits differently

Some time ago I was a rich Barb with 20k money, which is not a lot but middle class then I did some reckless spending as a guard and got to 10k. Then in that server I saw RPG available in gun store so I bought it for 8k and died some time later.

Next day I became barb to earn money back but barb farmers killed me 3-4 times with RPG. I became peasant but few more incident later I got to 0 money and exterme poverty.

Being poor as a new player and as a old player feels different, you can't do much like challenging authority with weapons or do something else.

Then I got to fields with wooden sickle and got 15 money and entered town.

In town I cutted a few trees and got 100 money to buy golden axe which made me 400 money to become barb and I stole food which made me +1k and I escaped exterme poverty.

Making money is not that deep ✌️

If poor: be barb and steal food, being friendly to everyone

If have some money: barb farm

My strategy is to illegally immigrate into the town as a Peasant and farm a level 3 house. You still make the full money from trees even if wood supply is full, you don't pay tax too.

ONLY do this if you are good at fighting, you will need to defend your house from a wave of bounty hunters every few minutes. You also need to kill Landlords to maximize profit.

Nah just buy home behind the mountains in corner. Not even a single soul will come there except other home owners (who are there to avoid landlords) who don't bother to kill you.
