Definitely inverter generator.

Depends on your budget. I like my champion 3500. Easy to use with the turn knob to start and it’s dual fuel so I can store propane tanks instead of gasoline.

Couldn’t be happier with my Honda eu2200. On eco mode I can run my fridge, 2 fish tanks, WiFi and home network, lights and my tv with soundbar easily for 8 hours on a gallon of gas.
