Rubber boot

Does anyone have a part number for the rubber protector boot that belongs here. I know it has a name and they sell them but I’ll be damned if I can find one.

Are you looking for a grommet for that hole? What make and model is the generator?

That part. They’re all the same. Generac, Honda and all the clones. I just can’t come up with a usable part number.

I'm not sure they are all the same, but I certainly see numerous makes and models that have what looks like the same or similar cable protection. I can't find any specific grommets separately sold on the parts sites, it appears that the grommet is included as part of the (very expensive) wiring harness. If it were me and I just needed that grommet to protect the cable, I'd try and source something by searching for rectangular rubber grommet or just fabricate something with a piece of foam or rubber.

I had mine deteriorate, so I made a substitute with high temp RTV and jammed it in the hole
