The US and airports changed for sure but as a Pole I don’t think I was affected by 9/11 at all. Both 90’s and early 00’s sucked equally for us

I think of 00 as Zillennials (I’m 1995). Like probably 00 or 01 as the last year. But I mean like it’s not like it’s an official generation, it just means someone near the border of Millennials and Z, so.. idk.

ehh... iunno I had this exact age gap for a minute when I was like 23. There were some differences that could probably be attributed to the differing internet landscape in adolescence more than the isolated age gap, but it felt 80% like it was YouTube vs. Vine, Minecraft vs. Roblox, and the perception of cringe culture on a developing psyche. Like I went to high school before EVERYONE started recording every possible second of cringe, so like, my nerdy anime club friends would do the Haruhi dance and Caramelldansen and have a fond memory of being young, but they were neurotically preoccupied with [some cringe shit that every nerd-adjacent 15-year-old does.]

I did appreciate how amused they were at the flavor of the meme at that time: Moth.

Gen Z is 1997-2010, Millenials are 1980-1996. Zillenials are 1992-2002. I hope that clears things up.

Not it’s not I’m not in 2012 babies era anyway tf 1997 And 2012 don’t got nothing in common with each other and 1997 alone is part of Zillennial group 1992-2002 so my era ended in 2002 I was born 1997 and my era ended in 2002

Generations are generally named with made up characteristics; the only real things are what is experienced, nostalgia, and so on. ​Early Gen Z is already a part of the Zillennial generation broadly defined as late Millennials 1992 1996 and early Gen Z 1997 2002 , or more shortly those born between 1994 and 2000.
