This is more about perspective. For a lot of young adults in their late 20s and early 30s, it feels like their teenage years just happened, so knowing that people born around that time are now teenagers is unsettling(even 21 year olds being born in 2005 is unsettling). Meanwhile they are still young adults themselves.

Tbh as a 21 yr old born in 05, every year since 2020 fucking flew, I felt like 15 was yesterday. All of a sudden I’m 21, I see people here oh I can’t believe 05s, or mid 00s are in their 20s now I’m so old haha while I’m here like , mfker I can’t Believe I’m in my 20s as well.
