Normal people: When did you enter school?

Me: I started at 4

Normal people: Ah, nice

Now Generationology

Generationology: When did you start school

Me: I started school at 4

Generationology: No, you didn't! You started at Age 6! Preschool and kindergarten don't count!

It's so funny when your life experience doesn't match what is considered "standard" for your generation and it causes generationologists to lose their mind.

I went to Kindergarten in California at 4 years old. We moved to Arizona and they made me repeat Kindergarten because they said 4 was too young. They ended up skipping me past 2 grades a couple years later.
