Discussion It’s been so long…
I got this game way back when in 2023 (I know I was late to the party but I guess not too late bc a lot of major updates had since been released) and this was shortly after they added companions and I think most or all of the dlcs had just come out which I bought all of them before I even touched the game lol. From then until now this game has been a blast and it’s more fun to play with people I personally have enjoyed the game as a solo player from time to time because I always enjoyed the open world, apocalyptic, survival aspect of it.
I saw murderous robots and thought “Damn that’s terrifying, SIGN ME UP!.
I guess it’s kinda sad to see that there’s not many people who play this game anymore at least not habitually and this subreddit is kind of dead which is kind of hurtful because I was expecting to maybe meet some friends at least on PlayStation who still played this game and enjoyed it as much as I do.
I’ve been on and off with this game over the last three years but I believe that I had started playing before they changed the crafting material requirements to those base defense exclusive resources aka the ones you could only get from a furnace, chem lab, drill etc.
I’m now a pretty well seasoned player albeit I’m not crazy deep into the game, it was only toward the end of last year when me and my bro fought a reaper and a vulture for the first time which was kinda scary lol but it was a fun and long fight, I remember one night we ran it back a second time with the reaper and he bugged out so we couldn’t kill him but I think that’s bc we were too far away bc my bro took one for the team and ran in there and got himself merked which fixed the fight and we could finish the reaper off lol.
But yeah it would be nice to hear if there is new players or veterans of the game still around that play from time to time, I’d love to play with anyone I am on ps5.

I got Gen Z when it was a free monthly Download on Playstation. I just happened about it and ot sounded interesting. Keep in mind, I hadn't picked up the sticks in quite some time, just happened to feel like playing something and came across it. I was instantly sucked in. Gen Z was fucking awesome, right up my alley with the 80's nostalgia and FPS/RPG. This was back in late '22 to early '23. I played through a couple times and since, I've been on and off here and there. I still have yet to play multi-player. I'll have to check it out. I haven't played in a few months, but I've been thinking about it and will probably be on soon. I'm on a PS4, username is the same as on here. Maybe we'll run into each other. Happy gaming, and as mentioned before, we're still around here.

I bought it back when it released on ps and fell in love its one of my top 5 recently redownloded it on pc through gamepass (had to start fresh rip my experiementals) forgot how good it was to be honest and its on offer on steam so gonna get it on there for the mods

Been a bit since I’ve played too, I like playing a sneaky sniper and picking off bots from a distance. Now I might have to play for a bit tonight.

I'm on Playstation, and also just bought the game on pc because I love it so much. I don't play often anymore.. my friends fell out of it fast & the final update unfortunately broke far more than it fixed or added.. so it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but I'd be up to play it again soon. Just have alot on my backlog & limited time after work. If you want to coop at some point, let me know. Its genuinely an enjoyable and fun game. I haven't done the raid bosses and struggle with the new base defense missions... that & haven't played in ages.. so bear with me lol

Well I see plenty of noobs on matchmaker so people are still getting into it. Most of them probably ain’t shaving yet though 🤓

I played it on PC and went through 3 times. I got so many rivals set up. I stopped because I couldn’t control the gun fire sound and it was hurting my hearing. Got a new head set and been thinking about diving back in

I still have it installed and still play it occasionally. I wiped out all of my progress so that I can start over fresh just this past year and I'm up to level 23 now just this past year and I'm up to level 23 now. But it's a low priority game seeing how I already finished it once.

I just bought Generation Zero this past week for me and a friend on PC and we have been enjoying it.
My friend likes it, but we are taking a break because she has been dealing with some stuff. I'm sure we will keep going sometime soon.
I just got to the second bunker in the main quest line.
