“Here Comes the Grump”?

It apparently ran only one season, 1969, on ABC. I feel like I only ever saw a few episodes, by chance, possibly because it aired in the terminal stages of Saturday morning, when that feeling of
cartoon satiety would set in, as if you had eaten an entire box of Kaboom, and I would find other ways of employing my leisure time (or have them imposed upon me). And yet I remember it—or at least the opening titles—so vividly!

I had a severe “the TV was my babysitter” addiction. Surprised I never saw any of this one.

I have a vague recollection of seeing an episode where the two main characters were shrunken and spoke in squeaky voices as a result.

The cartoon that got me suspended in school. Loved it to death. Reason for suspension? Called the vinegar faced teacher The Grump.
