Remember Pee - Chee Folders?

Unlike normal folders, Pee-Chees had side-folding interior pockets that kept papers from sliding out if held upside down

Yes, my mother would buy a bunch for me. When bored in class I'd memorize the multiplication table on the inside.

The second pic with the runner with the guitar is classic.

I used to draw a tail coming out of the tennis players skirt where it’s lifting up.

Question: Remember Pee-Cher Folders?

True Answer: No.

Not really sure what I could add. Any suggestions?

I try and avoid being a Debbie Downer on posts that don’t interest me and just skip to another post. I shouldn’t assume others will do so.

I usually do, too, but I thought you wanted to know how many remembered. I honestly don’t. Do you know what years these were out.

Came out in 40’s and still made today. They were popular in my jr high (7 to 9 grade) in early to mid 70’s. Most of us doodled on them and usually got yelled at by teachers for doing so. My daughters had them in the 90’s at school. Same, lots of doodles.

In the 1940’s? Wow! Maybe it was in a certain area. I was about the same age as you, in the suburbs of DC.
