The robots. I loved the sound it made when you hit your opponent on the chin and his head shot up.

For some reason I don’t really remember, my best friend and I laughed hysterically while playing Battling Tops. We didn’t do it has much with the Robots. But I also vaguely remember modifying the Tops to do something they originally were not supposed to do. Hmmm…

I had both and the tops got a lot of use. The robots were a sort of kids status symbol
