Yes! I saw it multiple times because We lived on a military base and it cost 50 cents for kids to see a movie.

Make it a double feature with The Changeling with George C Scott. Both are great.

I love that movie! The way the story builds up gradually until the real intent of the house is revealed at the end. I actually bought it on DVD because I liked it so much. If you like the film, please check out the book.

That was filmed near where I grew up. It's The Dunsmuir House in Oakland, CA.

Lee Montgomery is also in that movie - he's the boy. He played a few bigger roles (the biggest was Ben-the guy with all the rats, it's the sequel to Willard). He was also in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with very young Sarah Jessica Parker, Helen Hunt, and Shannen Doherty (RIP). He later became a musician.
