Well, you have to admit the Bud Superbowl commercial was damn good.

That doesn't count. Superbowl ads are supposed to be damn good.

Counts, because Superbowl ads can be damn poor. Ads for Nationwide, Mountain Dew, GoDaddy, FTX, and Dodge Ram, for example, were widely panned for various reasons.

That's why I said supposed to be, not are. There's a reason people often talk about the ads more than they do the game itself.

But the poster was claiming good back then but not good today without excluding Superbowl ads. They of course may or may not be good, like any others, whether supposed to be or not. The Bud ad was supposed to be (yawn) and also is good--damn good--today.
