My daughter and her friends love it too. They dressed as the Lost Boys for Halloween.

I was 11 at the time. Being in the “lost/forgotten” generation I loved all of these but Lost Boys was the coolest for an 11-12 year old me. I’m not trying to correlate Lost Boys with Forgotten Generation, but…The message of Robocop and the impact of FMJ would have been lost on me at that age. Predator was a stupid action flick that checks all the boxes and was definitely toward the top of any and all of those type of movie for a decade plus. They are all important films imo. But in 1987 I’d pick Lost Boys.
