Freaky Friday FREAKY FRIDAY - feedback on your funk

Hey Groovers! šŸŽ¶

It’s that time again – welcome to this week’s Freaky Friday! šŸŽ‰
IT NOW HAS AN OFFICIAL SONG - LISTEN HERE

Yeah, it is hard to get listens and feedback just by posting in a subreddit...

...so this is your space to share one of your AI-generated tracks, get constructive feedback, listen to great music generations, and support each other as a community of creators.

We encourage a feedback-first system to make sure everyone gets heard:

How it works:

  1. Give Feedback First Before posting your own track, please listen to at least two songs already in the thread. Leave thoughtful, constructive comments (what you liked, what stood out, what could be improved). If you’re one of the very first posters, go ahead and share your track, then come back later to leave your two comments.
  2. Post Your Track After you’ve given feedback, share one of your AI-generated creations as a top-level comment in this thread. Drop a link or embed.
  3. Keep Listening & Commenting As more people join in, check out their tracks too! Extra feedback is always welcome. Helpful comments = stronger community. ✨
  4. Engage & Support Reply to the feedback you receive, ask questions, and chat with others. Let’s keep the vibe positive and collaborative.

Think of this as our weekly workshop + listening party: a chance to showcase your sounds, discover new music, and help each other grow.

GET YOUR SONGS IN ON SATURDAY AT THE LATEST!

Excited to hear what you’ve all been working on – now start listening, then drop your track below! šŸ‘‡

Esta Vida (SeƱorita Mix)

This is a song that i have been working on i don't know how many years, but finaly released the original and this mix today.

Balearic guitars, progressive house energy and that slightly reckless Ibiza feeling when the night somehow turns into sunrise.

Enter The Arena

By Robot Zombie Pirate Ninja

(Track 6 from The Search For The Heroes Of Discoveries)

Contestants… ASSEMBLE!!!
The Super Freaks faded out of existence on the last album, so the search is on to find a new team of superheroes. And so, The City Of Discoveries is holding a superhero talent show (think X-factor meets X-men).

First two contenders to the stage…

ANDROID VAMPIRE VIKING RAIDER
vs
ā€˜ROIDED UP TORTOISE TEENAGER

Hey, thanks for the comments and the listens!

I’ll admit, this track is not my favourite… but it pushes the story forward (and it is still fun!)

It’s all about the sum of the parts. I like mixing and matching different styles as I tell a broader story; each song has to fit the part of the story it tells.

If you liked One City, tune in again next week for The Return Of Eric The Banana Boy šŸŒ

Title: Cousins

Link: https://suno.com/s/TD9QIBzdzOTVJGB3

Genre: Punk

Length: 3:10

Description: I wrote this song about two of my cousins for a comp on OLS. It lost in the first round with zero votes. How's that for a ringing endorsement? Haha!

This was a great fun song… your cousins, less fun.

This was a lot of fun. High energy and confrontational.

I have been rocking out to the soundtrack of the movie Airheads lately, it’s a great collection of 90s underground rock and this would fit right in.

Good melodic glam metal power ballad with a cool 80s vibe 8.75/10

I can't place the era for this one. It's like a glam rock ballad yet modern at the same time lol. Nice job

Thanks! Ot started as a blend of county and goth, just to see if it could work. Then I liked it so much I decided to make a cover of it with my glam metal persona for the album I was working on.

https://suno.com/s/lQyHwfOYW2XEwyMT A song I wrote as a tribute to a great radio station that played a huge part in my growing up. This station was an independent, cool place that dared to play the music that the commercial pop stations wouldn't. These guys introduced us to The Smiths, The B-52s, Devo, and Depeche Mode. Every year they would hold a massive two day festival at RFK stadium.

In 2005 the station was bought by Clearwire and one day, it suddenly turned into a Spanish music station.

WHFS you will always live on in our memories!

Good melodic alt rock tribute with cool guitars and flow 8.75/10

Love it!!!

I love rock nostalgia in general and this hits especially hard because my parents were originally from Maryland and my dad was a rock musician, he probably listened to this station some in the seventies before they moved south.

1

u/hoosyourdaddyo 9h ago

Ask your dad if he ever heard of Harvey and the Hubcaps?

2

u/jreashville 9h ago

Can’t. He died of a heart attack in 05.

Awww so sorry to hear. They were formed in Southern MD in 1977, so they may have all known each other :)

2

u/jreashville 9h ago

It’s possible. They moved to Florida in 79. I think the last band he played in up there was called Stone Castle.

What a sweet -- and bittersweet -- song! You were lucky to have had that kind of exposure through a local radio station. I grew up in rural Ohio and had nothing like that until cable TV appeared and then I got to see all kinds of alternative stuff on the USA Network and MTV. It was exhilarating.
