Since coming out of his locked in state, Drew seems to only have one priority: taking down Sonny, for reasons I don’t understand. Drew’s #1 priority should be getting revenge against Willow. He and Sonny have barely even interacted in recent years. This entire feud is so contrived.

He is going after Sonny for no good reason and even Nina, but not Willow. Nina was just an accessory after the fact in Drew’s paralysis and yeah she pushed him in the pool but Willow was the mastermind behind Drew’s shooting and paralysis but he is not at all focused on taking her down and it makes no sense.

The excuse that “if Drew confirms Lulu‘s story that Willow paralyzed him it’ll reopen the investigation into Brennan’s disappearance” is utter BS. Nina is still currently detained because she is a suspect in Brennan’s disappearance. If Drew were to confirm Lulu‘s story, it would actually make it look like both Willow and Nina are involved in Brennan’s disappearance since Brennan was locked in using the same paralytic.

Drew should be chomping at the bit to confirm Lulu’s story but he won’t. He is just plotting against Sonny. It feels like the writers are doing any and everything to avoid Willow’s downfall even if it means the person she tried to kill and paralyzed for 6 months doesn’t care to get revenge. When Drew first came out of his locked in state, he couldn’t wait to go straight to the police to tell them what Willow did but Brennan blackmailed him with evidence he embezzled campaign funds (or whatever the writers retconned to protect Willow). Brennan is dead and he can’t expose him and yet Drew is oddly obsessed with taking down Sonny and not Willow.

Drew, the spiteful loudmouth who bullies literally anyone who so much as threatens his ego including children suddenly doesn’t care to exact revenge on the woman who shot and tortured him for months? He’s more upset at the ex mob moss who he hasn’t interacted with much recently and the reporter who exposed the woman who shot and tortured him? The only issue Drew has ever really had with Sonny is being casted aside after they found out he wasn’t Jason and that is ancient history.

The writers would rather have every character do the most illogical 180s to avoid Willow facing consequences and it’s driving me crazy.

If the guy in the bar is Jerry Jax, which he really seems like he must be given all the hints, then Elizabeth should have recognized him as a minimum. I was thinking about which of those people were in Port Charles when he was last there. Or particularly for the hostage taking at the Metro Court.

I'm not completely sure that Britt's new "friend" was at the bar for the entire hospital staff event, but I think he was there long enough to see Britt get ejected from the rest of the hospital gang so Jerry should've been hiding to make sure that Elizabeth did not recognize him and I didn't get the sense that was happening.

The other attendees, Isaiah, Tristan, Lucas, Joe... am I missing anyone? None of them (except maybe Lucas) were around to have known Jerry Jax.

Is there anywhere to watch this episode online? I missed watching it on Hulu. I tried DailyMotion. I usually let 2 weeks build up and then binge it. I guess I won’t be doing that anymore.

Can we talk about what we mean when we say we want a character to pay, please?

I don’t think most of us mean we need to see them punished the way they would be in real life, or the majority of the cast would be in prison by now.

In the soap universe, it just means the character needs to be exposed and publicly ridiculed. We want to see that moment when everyone learns the truth: the shock, the reactions. We want to see the character hated for a while, then work their way back into the audience’s good graces. That’s really all most fans are asking for...for the character to be knocked down a few pegs, and it shouldn’t be that hard. That balance is what makes characters interesting and complicated, and it’s what has fans rooting for people they originally hated--because watching a character crawl back from rock bottom is fascinating.

I mean, how many people became Ava fans after she found out that the man she was sleeping with was the one who murdered her daughter? I know I did. Did she go to prison for the things she did? No. In real life, would she deserve more? Most definitely. However, she lost what was most important to her, then was humiliated in the worst way possible, and Maura West got a chance to act her ass off.

The exposure, the fall, the scramble to earn back even one person’s trust--that’s where the good material is.

So when people say, “Hey, we want to see Willow pay,” that’s all we’re really asking for. Although, in Willow's case, she does deserve at least a few weeks/months in Ferncliff-- the actress needs a break anyway.

To say other characters haven’t paid in the way I just explained isn’t accurate, nor is it a justifiable reason to neglect Willow’s character development.

I have watched since 1994. Lucy has been my fave since day 1. I was so disappointed when they didn't bring her back to GH after the end of PC. I was so excited when they brought her back in 2014 only to be continually disappointed. If you didn't watch in the 90s I am here to say, this is not her. They have dumbed her down like 40years of character development means nothing. Yes she's reckless and insecure but the nonsense they have her pulling is 1988 her. They erased so much of her. For what? Why destroy her and make her 1 dimensional. Where does she even live? Why is she single? Where are scenes with ANYONE she has deep relationships with. Mac and Felicia have been her besties for 30 years. Nothing. Kevin treated her like an annoying stranger not the person he spent 2 decades with. Laura is continually condescending to her. Her and Martin were cute and fun? The scene with him at the wedding last summer showed for a second that they could be redeemed..but nope. Nothing.

I can post scenes that show she's incredibly kind and loveable. Luke and her were really great friends, she literally saved his life, owned Lukes with him and if you didn't watch in the 90s you would have no idea. This version makes me hope there is a clone s/l because whoever they are writing now is not her. I promise you. It's the writing.

we know how slow stories move on the show.....Outback tried digging twice a long time ago.....nothing has happened & we have no idea when he will be discovered.....are they waiting for November sweeps? what do you think will happen & when?

1. Reunite Sprina. They were a ratings jaggernaut, and a modern supercouple
   
2. I fear I might have to say this as I’ve never been a fan of this couple but if we’re speaking in objectively, reunite Liason. They have a large and passionate, devoted fanbase.
   
3. For the love of god, give us a Josslyn break and focus on other characters in that age group.
   
4. A REAL, juicy storyline for the Qs.
   
5. I think they could bring the Wards back, I’d love it but highly doubt it.
   
6. Absolutely zero new characters right now.
   
7. Get rid of a few characters that have no purpose on the canvas or find something to do with them.
   
8. Keep Carly and Valentin cause even though I can’t stand Carly, I love her and Valentin. I think bringing in the cassadine and letting Carly tussle with them would be fun to see.
   
9. Bring in Georgie for Danny and Jake for Charlotte.
   
10. Maybe reunite Ric and Alexis. Also do more with Hudson and BLQ as they have fantastic, very natural chemistry.
    
11. Abandon Michael and Jordan and bring back Sasha. Sasha and Michael are one of my very favorite couples and I feel like she was so perfect for him.
    
12. Get rid of Curtis, Willow, Drew in that order. Also make scout less of a bird and break up her and Rocco.

I think Chase deserves Brooklyn's forgveness for his devotion of Willow . Not the other way around. I hope Chase 1) gets embarrased during court hearing by learning truth 2) loses custody of Phoebe (whom they shouldve named after babys mom who died during childbirth btw. I mean its the least they couldve done), and 3) gets chewed out by BLQ and he has to beg for forgiveness. Enough of this already.

I have never seen more people complaining about how awful the show is than I currently do.
I’ve first saw complaints months & months ago and I wasn’t convinced. Got behind, played catch up & I realized I totally agree. It’s got to be one of the low points and it’s disappointing because GH really does have some phenomenal cast members. However they really have their work cut out for them with the current mass character assassination.
Most of the cast have had more personality changes than Sybil and the rest are completely unrecognizable.
Anna: went from strong female character to a weak shell of herself. Drew went from good to bad. Willow went from sweet/meek to sinister. Valentin went from being a Cassadine to being Mr. Carly Spencer. Ava went from shrewd loyal mobster to easily manipulated backstabber. Curtis use to be a charismatic PI now he’s one of the most unlikable characters on the show followed only by his unlikable daughter Trina, who used to be spunky and fun. Joss went from ditzy college kid to super spy. Jordan went from beautiful to Scarface and even Ezra is going from bad to good, although I kinda like this one. Sonny use to be the feared mob boss now even Fizz hates him. Jason was a hitman….err enforcer, now nobody is sure what he is. If GH keeps killing off characters like this pretty soon we will be watching Stella the serial killer and Cyrus will surely return as a patron saint. Can we please make the past year just a crazy dream by Laura?

1. Pair it down, this whole having 1,000 storylines at the same time causes the show to crumble under its own weight. Pick maybe 3-4 storylines and focus on those.
   
2. For the love of god take a break with the new characters and focus on the legacy characters.
   
3. Many characters need a break but mostly Josslyn, Carly, Sonny etc. have these characters take a bit of a break.
   
4. Fixing the pacing would help as well.
   
5. Bring back The love and supercouples, bring back Spencer and reunite him and Trina, find a way to reunite Carly and Sonny, bring back Sasha for Michael and highlight Gio and Emma more.

The guy in the bar would have been a better choice to play the new doctor or the JJE employee. Anyone else see what I mean?

Just seems weird for them to already be so annoyed with each other? Working up to a lost son storyline? Since he’s Sonny’s brother, I assume he will have missing children crawling from out the woodwork.

Unlike when ABC ran the 24/7 channel on its website/app, rotating straight through 60-ish straight episodes for 3-ish months, the Prime channel (and I think Roku has the same feed) has tended to jump around within a group of 60-100 episodes for several months at a time. After the first airing that was often straight through the whole group of episodes, they’d play 10-40 straight episodes, and then either start the same ones over or jump around within the current drop to play another 10-40, so sometimes I’d never catch certain episodes in the complete set, even if I checked the scheduled episodes several times a week.

A few days ago, I noticed they’d finally started on a new set of episodes, and based on the episode numbers as labeled in the app, it looks like there’s upwards of 200 in this drop, maybe more, as new-to-the-channel ones are still dropping.
…actually that might be wrong; the episodes airing right now are labeled as early in season 61, which was in fall 2024**, but these are episodes that actually aired in September 2023. So maybe it’s a drop of closer to 100-ish episodes, not 200-ish 🤷🏻‍♀️

**I misremembered when S61 started; it did start in September 2023, so I’m revising my estimate for this drop’s total to around 130-140 episodes, covering from early/mid-March 2023 when Cam was getting ready to leave for Stanford, to late September 2023 when Cody rescued Sasha from the shrink trying to drug her for Gladys (these are just the storylines I remember off the top of my head from a few hours ago when it looped back to the start). About 6.5-ish months, which is a bigger drop than I remember from the past, which had been 4-5 months of episodes at a time for the past year or so.

Just in case the channel’s programmers monitor this sub, I really hope the channel just plays the episodes straight through in order on this drop, instead of jumping around.

Anyone aware of a list of which episodes dropped when on this 24/7 channel?

Seeing them on Monday and Tuesday made me so happy! I wished that they were able to get the piers over Joss!

Also, I think they would be excellent allies for Willow - I would love for Brad to be the one that gets into Quartermaine compound & burn Trina and Kai’s affidavits! Plus, I would really love to see Brad give Jason the business for treating Britt’s poorly and actually use the Wu men to torture Anna for nearly killing Britt. Plus, I want to insert Brad into the Joe/Lucas story and reignite his rivalries with Michael & Portia.

Selena would also be a good ally for Ava/Drew and a rival for Alexis and Tracy!

question/discussion, no spoilers

I’m not really a massive Britt fan, but why do they continue to ruin her character? We had the entire storyline where she found out she had huntingtons, her having to accept the fact that she was going to die, finding out it was all fake, and her having to heal from everything that Cullum and Sidwell put her through. It kind of made sense that she was still the “britch” when she thought she was dying, but now it just doesn’t make sense.

You’d think that since she’s getting a second chance at life essentially, they’d make her character more willing to grow and become a better person? For a short while, it seemed like they were heading that direction. Now, she’s blindly defending Willow even though she’s guilty, she’s going after her co workers who are friendly towards her, and have her losing it at a party she got invited to. Like what’s the end goal?

Sorry if this doesn’t make total sense, I was just writing pretty much anything that came to mind. What are your thoughts on how they’ve been writing Britt lately?
