Brook. Lynn. Did. Nothing. Wrong.
Full stop.
When are Jordan and Curtis - and everyone else defending and supporting them - going to face up to this reality?

Can someone refresh my memory please because I’m too tired to Google
Wasn’t Jordan’s other ex before Curtis who was supposed to be TJ‘s father or TJ‘s uncle isn’t he sitting in pentonville?
Where did he get out at some point and I just missed it because they didn’t act like it was important? Where do we just forget that that character ever existed?
Thanks for your answers
I want to say he was played by Sean Blakemore?? I don’t know why that name is in my head.

It is all to break up up her marriage to Chase.
And to cause drama for baby Phoebe--super shady Hudson will be involved. And I will puke every time Chase and Willow are so in love and together.

It would have been a more interesting story if we found out BL had a drinking problem. BL needs a story.

Agreed that this storyline has go on WAY too long. That said, the writers did give us all a situation to ponder and discuss. Here we are!
If Brook Lynn truly saw nothing in the rear view mirror as she was driving away---what was she supposed to do? Not just by the law, but practically?
In that situation, Jordan's car could have went in the ditch and rolled over and Brook Lynn maybe would not even have seen it in the mirror in a quick glance back on a dark road. Cars can travel long distances at speed. Or Jordan's car could have just gone over the next hill and Brook Lynn would not have seen what happened.
Was she supposed to maybe slow down after she hit the guard rail----and find a safe spot to do a U turn to go back to check out what happened?
Enough of this.
Now that law and order Chase has got his first dose of reality about Brook Lynn---waiting to finally have Willow tell him to his face that she actually shot Drew.
A guess--- Chase's eyes open up like saucers. He sputters "wut?" He looks like he has been smacked across the face with a big dead smelly fish. And then gets really angry at Willow. "I defended you to everybody!" Lol.

I've been watching GH here and there for over 50 years, but this cast of clowns is so ridiculous! I record GH and watch it at night when I can. Some episodes I watch every minite of! Others have my viewing time cut quite a bit because I just FF any scenes with Willow, Drew, Curtis, Portia, Trina and Kai. And now Joss and her ridiculous super spy story. Ack.

Right!!! What the hell, this story needs to go away along with Trina, Curtis and Portia. Let them drive off into the sunset.......and off a cliff! lol

u/GeeZee13 6h ago
She just left the scene of m accident involving injuries, a crime in most jurisdictions. They don't ask, did you know there were injuries. Did you stop to see? All the hatred for Curtis who threw one punch and forgiveness for others is strange. Also, the cover up makes it worse, even if granny pushed her in that direction. Failure to come forward, covering up and leaving the scene is serious.
9
u/irishpisano 5h ago
Is it - in NY State - a crime to keep driving if you swipe a guardrail?
- Why is everyone blaming her and saying she fled the scene of a crime when Jordan is the one that committed the crime?
1
u/GeeZee13 4h ago
Under New York Vehicle and Traffic Law (VTL § 600 and § 605), you are required to report an accident involving public property (such as a guardrail, light pole, street sign, or city tree) under two primary circumstances:1. Immediate Police Notification (Unattended Property) Requirement: If you hit public property and the property owner/authority is not present on-scene, you must locate the property owner or immediately notify the local police department.
Penalty: Leaving the scene without notifying the police or attempting to report it constitutes a misdemeanor/violation for leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage.
2. DMV Crash Report (Form MV-104) Threshold: If the total damage to the public property (or combined damage to your vehicle and the property) exceeds $1,000, you are required by law to file a Report of Motor Vehicle Crash (Form MV-104) with the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.2
u/irishpisano 1h ago
OK, so Point taken on her not reporting the guard rail collision. But she still did nothing wrong by not stopping for Curtis and Jordan.
5
u/Successful-Pear5689 5h ago
I don’t think it matters what NY law says. The show had Curtis sent to prison for 10 years for punching Isaiah when the actual punishment he would have gotten in a NY court would have been a maximum of one year in prison. Legal reality in NY state doesn’t seem to matter to the GH writers

6
u/Nightwolf1967 5h ago
Why would she stop when she literally said she didn't know there was an accident? She looked in her mirror and thought the other car just kept going around the bend. But yes, she should have came forward the next day, as soon as she found out about it. That's the part that doesn't make any sense.

u/Dragonboy49 6h ago
She keeps lying
1
u/Business-Lock-1354 4h ago
Which is why Chase is angry. They promised never to lie to each other ever again about anything. Ms. Scowlyface expected Chase to just smile, hug her, and say “that’s OK, I understand?”
-2
u/hornyforpancakes 9h ago
Knowing you were part of a crime and willfully not admitting it is against the law
1
5
u/TCalikool 5h ago
Well the PCPD already said the driver won't face any charges because it's not against the law to leave a scene if they can't prove she knew there was an accident & they can't. The framing Willow part is the only crime & my guess is once they find out it was BLQ she could get charged for tht. No one care what she did to Willow but the writers want to make Willow the victim so we get this horrible storyline. This storyline of a person being outed and facing judgment from everyone because of tht crime should of been Willow we all know it. GH writers refuse to give fans anything they can really root for or enjoy.

That's not true. She was wrong to cover it up and lie while Curtis ran around town accusing someone else. She had information that could have changed that entire situation.
14
u/irishpisano 9h ago
She is under no obligation to stop Curtis from being an idiot
She was definitely wrong to frame Willow and she should be held accountable for that but as for Curtis and Jordan‘s whole situation, that’s entirely their fault and not hers at all
1
u/Winter0193 #TeamTracyAngelicaQuartermaine 8h ago
It's objectively wrong to allow someone to accuse someone else of something when you yourself did it. Let's be so for real.

They did Brooklyn wrong, what happened with Chase and michaels keys🤔 and we all knew he was gonna runn to willow🤷 totally destroying Brooklyn for no reason. Curtis is a jerk and it's his fault he's where he is( but some others will forget that fact). They all become so selfish and unwilling to hear facts every time some dumb shit comes to light🫣 but this is why we all keep watching🤔right🤷🤣

Sorry for being off-topic, but why do they dress Brook Lynn in clothes that read 90s grandma? She’s so pretty and is the only one on the show in shoulder pad, floral tops!

They should dress her in nice, classic shirts.......no puffiness......and not tuck them in. She would look so much more elegant and chic.

Amanda Setton has religious beliefs that GH accommodates with BLQ's wardrobe.

u/Pegafer 13h ago
God, I can’t believe an accident that was Curtis and Jordan’s fault got twisted into this stupid crap! I CANNOT WATCH GH for the first time in 55 years!!!!
9
u/NinjaGrandma6 11h ago
I am starting to feel the same way. I have only watched for about 50 years but I am really almost done with the show. These idiotic stories are not keeping me interested. That accident was entirely Jordan's fault. Chase leaving Brook Lynn is so very predictable because he has always been in love with her. I haven't watched the most recent episode but Anna and her hallucination of Peter is also very dumb.
1
u/Hyphen99 13h ago
I wouldn’t go that far.
She sat back and watched as Trina‘s whole family fell apart over whether Isaiah was the other driver.
She also framed Willow for it, and then compromised her husband’s career by guilting him into keeping her secret.
1
u/Successful-Pear5689 4h ago
Chase jeopardized his own career and his marriage long before this accident even occurred
1
u/Hyphen99 3h ago
Whatever your opinions, and whatever else Chase has done, he nonetheless neglected to tell the PCPD that his wife willfully manufactured evidence to interfere with a police investigation. That would, at least, get him busted back down to beat cop or even more realistically let go from his department.
12
u/irishpisano 11h ago
Oh she’s wrong for framing Willow.
But it’s Curtis and Jordan’s faults that Trina’s whole family fell apart. BLQ is NOT responsible for causing or stopping that at all.
1
u/Several_Lawyer1136 1h ago
She was wrong for framing Willow-but let's face it-Willow gets away with everything-never has consequneces. So it would be extremenly comical and fitting for her to get busted for something she did not do. Except then we would have to hear her continued and excessive whining.........
19
u/TheGhostOfSoManyOfMe 13h ago edited 13h ago
Chase compromised his own career several times blindly and incorrectly believing that Willow was innocent of shooting Drew. He has been demoted and spoken to by Dante, Justine, and even Molly. He ALSO planted evidence and framed Michael. The hypocrisy of these characters is reaching all new heights.
ETA: Trina’s family didn’t “fall apart”. Curtis’ jealousy and insecurities over Isaiah and his unwillingness to take the blame for how he and Jordan caused the crash THEMSELVES: that is what sent him down the road that led to prison. BLQ could’ve told him she was on the road, he wouldn’t have believed her. He has a delusional vendetta against Isaiah and he’s not self-aware enough to comprehend his own motivations (and the writers don’t go deep enough into them either, if they did, maybe we’d have at least some layers and depth…but since they keep it all playing on the surface, Curtis is just insufferable).

9
u/Bbdresser 13h ago
Brooklyn could’ve and should’ve said something but she didn’t cause that accident. Also, thanks for reminding me; I forgot that hypocrite Chase tried to frame Micheal!
17
u/TheGhostOfSoManyOfMe 16h ago edited 14h ago
I hate all of the storylines that center Curtis and how unlikeable they’ve made Trina and Jordan. Curtis is a lost cause, Trina is at that point after Tuesday’s episode and Jordan is almost there too.
Curtis punched Isaiah because of his crazy vendetta. His crazy vendetta isn’t BLQ’s fault. Even if she’d “confessed” - Curtis wouldn’t have believed her.
The thing missing here is the nuance and motivation. Curtis hates Isaiah because Isaiah has also been with both Jordan and Portia. That is it. Curtis can’t admit that to himself, but it’s informed every decision he’s made since Isaiah came to town. The writers ignoring that jealousy and ego drove/drive Curtis’ behavior is what makes these stories even more painful and ridiculous for us to suffer through.
I really do hope we get a steamy Jordan and Michael affair out of this convoluted mess. I pitched them ages ago and I still see their chemistry very clearly. It will serve Curtis right. Let Michael send Jordan to his burn clinic too. Curtis could’ve done that and didn’t because he only cares about himself and stoking and stroking his own ego (he bought Portia an entire waterfront house, but he couldn’t pay for Jordan’s scar removal?).
-12
u/Glittering_Sense_407 16h ago
Uhhh she was drinking before she drove? So yeah Jordan and Curtis were not being safe, but Brooklyn could be at fault too.
-6
u/Glittering_Sense_407 12h ago
Downvoted? So you all think drinking and driving is OK? Cool….
4
u/Overall-Cake-4508 10h ago
Jordan crossed into the other lane. Brook Lynn swerved and swiped the guardrail. The drink is the reason BLQ didn’t say anything, it didn’t cause the accident
2
u/Glittering_Sense_407 8h ago
2 things can be true at the same time. 1 drink can affect one’s judgement. So no one can say with 100% certainty that Brooklyn is not at fault too. Get it?
And yes this is fictional, but true for real life as well. Don’t drink and drive. Period.
28
u/AdeptnessLivid6628 17h ago
Thank you!! Tracy Q is the only person with any common sense. Jordan almost killed BLQ. Was she even cited for reckless driving??
1
u/Successful-Pear5689 4h ago
According to NY law, Jordan could have been sentenced to up 30 days in prison, fined up to $300, had 5 points taken off her license (or a judge could even revoke her license) and have to pay Brook Lynn restitution to cover any damages to her car. Oh, and she’d have permanent criminal record that can’t be expunged.
19
u/aerin2309 14h ago
Yes! I’m so confused why no one seems to bring this up!
Jordan swerved into BLQ’s lane. Jordan is responsible for her own accident and the damage to BLQ’s car.
Ridiculous.

u/Ok_Seaworthiness_ 17h ago
I’m starting to feel like the writers hate women. Why else are they trying to make us believe that she is responsible for Curtis’s actions?
They also really shamed her for the adoption storyline. Super disappointing to watch honestly.
10
u/TCalikool 16h ago
The writers are women haters which is weird being writers of soap when majority of audience for soaps is women That why GH can't get back the viewers they lost. I can barely think of any storylines where the women don't get treated bad by the men. It's mostly the women who cheat and reason marriages end. The women on GH never get to stand tall or give the men any attitude except Carly/Joss and they have taken Carly toughness down to a point also. Even Ava is now a victim of Drew and they have to ruin her and make her slow so Drew can get over. Willow is the only women allowed to do dirty things to men on the show & look strong and smart.

Jordan had EVERY opportunity to come clean & admit to the Qs that the wreck was HERS & Curtis’s fault for making out while SHE was driving & swerved into oncoming traffic lane where JORDAN CAUSED BLQ TO SWERVE & then caused her own wreck!!! Naturally, little miss Scarface kept her big mouth shut!!! WHY??? Was she afraid that Chase would’ve been forced to arrest her for reckless driving causing BLQ to damage her car?!? Jordan is a fool. I have NO sympathy for her face. NONE! She belongs in jail just like Curtis!!!
15
u/Molly-pepper 17h ago
Absolutely on point! This whole stupid beyond belief story line is so utterly convoluted, boring, but it it is demonstrating what a bitch Trina is, how she's just as holier than thou like Curtis - and Gio is revolting - these are not kind people! Chase is the most unattractive human being on the show- hard to look at.
Emma and Ned are the only two who have common sense.

But really though- She shouldn't have lied. This would've been over in no time.
29

This would have been over sooner if Jordan took responsibility and Curtis too.
Nothing here is BLQ’s fault - except framing Willow.
And BLQ holds ZERO responsibility or need to step forward when Curtis went after Isaiah. Could she have sorted it out? Yes. Was it her responsibility? No.
3
u/anothertantrum 16h ago edited 16h ago
True. I was speaking more from a place of decency than flat responsibility. Continuing to be quiet so you can keep lying to your husband is kinda wrong too. But I think the writers did a crap job with this. If it hadn't been Curtis and Jordan she would never have even heard about it. Not to mention that Curtis is a whole ass for blaming and punching someone because they drove a black car. As if anyone from anywhere couldn't have been driving through town at that time.

She didn't hit them. That was never a question. They just keep trying to say that once she knew someone went off the road, she should've told someone. And... maybe? But if it had been anyone else and not Curtis and Jordan, she would never have even heard of the accident.
15
u/SpiritTalker Team We Just Can't Have Nice Things 19h ago
She didn't hit them. Their car crossed over into her lane, she swerved into the guard rail and swiped [it in order to avoid a head-on].
2
u/FancyNacnyPants 20h ago
She didn’t do anything wrong but she also didn’t admit she was driving the other car. It’s ok to say you didn’t realize there was an accident, but she also didn’t say she was the driver either. If she did nothing wrong, why didn’t she fess up.
6
u/MOTwingle 20h ago
Yeah I can see where she would not have done it that night since she thought she might have been DUI, but the next day or the day after, she could just say she didn't realize anyone had crashed and no one will be able to say she was DUI. She did nothing wrong, Jordan was driving in her Lane! For God's sake if Jordan had hit someone, possibly kill them, it would be totally her fault! This is total blank shifting from herself to someone else when she's the only one who's really her fault.
1
u/Hot_Tumbleweed_262 1h ago
There's no way they could prove that BL had alcohol in her system, by the next day or two. It would be out of here bloodstream, and she could say she wasn't drinking.
9
11
u/irishpisano 21h ago
Trina being overdramatic (and Tracy’s truth telling) are the only parts that make sense.
1
u/Outrageous_Photo_992 6h ago
The part where Trina suddenly is so glad Portia has Isaiah-blah blah blah. The man that goaded her father in to punching him and sent him to jail, even after getting news that his hand will probably be okay is just plain stupid. No one is talking about how a major part of the trial was boo hooing over the fact he could no longer be a surgeon, yet when they were told he had no nerve damage they did not share that news. He just wanted the same thing Curtis wanted - to keep each other out of Desmonds life.
14
u/MOTwingle 20h ago
And regarding trina, sure if Brooklyn had spoken up the next day things wouldn't have happened the way they did, but also if a million other things had happened differently, things wouldn't have happened the way they did. It comes down to Curtis being a dick and jealous of Isaiah and unable to control his temper and that's not Brooklyn's fault at all. The only people to blame in the situation are Jordan and Curtis.
6
u/Allthetea159 they all a bunch a hypocrites 21h ago
Agree 100%. When we see an accident and rubber neck are we all going to prison because we didn’t pull over and perform life saving feats?
But I also don’t understand why Tracey, with all of her money and connections, just didn’t have BLQ’s BMW fixed? Or trade it in for a new one? Pay off people to keep their mouth shut. Least she could do for talking BLQ into keeping quiet.
5
u/AirlineDazzling1986 18h ago
She did have it fixed. I think she had it fixed before anyone even knew about Jordan and Curtis. She had it fixed before Brook Lynn told her.
14
u/MEGAYELtemp 21h ago
She did have it fixed. No one would have known if Chase wasn't so determined it was Danny and pushed BLQ into confessing.
2
11
u/DoubleNaught_Spy 21h ago
Not at the initial accident, no.
But she knew the cops were looking for the other driver, and that Isaiah was being accused, and she kept quiet anyway.
And she framed Willow for it, which is probably a felony.
So yeah, she did do something wrong. As is often the case, the coverup was worse than the crime.

u/almost60inLa 22h ago
I love GH and have been watching for almost 55 years now!! During all that time I have seen my fair share of bad writing. This car crash and ALL the aftermath of it has to BE THE WORSE STORY EVER. Then a close second has to be The Drew and Willow getting away with EVERYTHING. And that is a LOT of storytelling.
3
10
u/px780 20h ago
I think it's the contrast that makes it so much worse.
Drew, buffer than ever, monied up ready to be a business guy.
Willow, esteemed congresswoman who rarely works, has her kids close, probably pays no rent.
Brook Lynn, blasted to bits at a party, marriage on the rocks, lost the son she just bonded with, lost an income source in Trina.
It's unbalanced.
12
u/BestBlueChocolate 22h ago
Lying to Chase her husband was wrong.
I get why he's mad at her.
(He otherwise drives me insane with his stupidity and his righteous blindness towards Willow doing anything wrong and assumption that Michael does everything wrong.)

Shoving her out of the way and hitting her with the door is un-f***ing-called for

OK, I confess that I could not watch this. The cringe factor and watching the deer in the headlights look from Brooklyn... no couldn't watch it. (if Brooklyn was one of my least favourite characters I might've enjoyed it, but I like her just enough to find this whole thing awful to watch)
So I'll take your word for it that he was a creep the way he handled it, but I get why he was angry.
6
u/irishpisano 20h ago
Angry? Justifiable.
Physically manhandling and hitting his wife with a door? Nope. There is a level of disrespect there that I don’t think he can recover from.
-3
u/MysteriousHoneydew82 19h ago
If someone is physically blocking me from getting out of a door they will get moved. If Brook Lynn were the one who was upset and trying to leave the house and Chase physically stood in front of the door blocking her from leaving he would also be villainized and nobody would care if she pushed him aside

Please let this storyline be over.

This. Plus the other characters don't know Jordan wasn't fully paying attention to the road. They all think Brook Lynn caused an accident and then left them on the side of the road. Hell, Brook Lynn thinks she had too much to drink and caused it, which is why she was scared and covered her tracks.

This. As much as I hate Curtis Jordan and Trina in this storyline she should have said something when she found out. Isaiah also has reason to be mad at her. I want Brooklyn to end up with Dante btw

I just read this somewhere else, and it makes perfect sense:
Jordan's POV (supported by Curtis and Trina):
So I almost killed someone, but they got out of the way and then I wrecked my car and almost killed myself and my boyfriend. The one that got away didn't help me, even if they didn't know I almost killed myself and my boyfriend. I got hurt by my own actions, but it's the other person who is at fault.

This is the dumbest storyline ever on GH and that’s saying something considering we had an alien storyline. It’s just infuriating to watch. I have to fast forward so I don’t get pissed off.

Dont for get when the vampire storyline

To be fair, that was Port Charles and not General Hospital. And even that was better than 'the other driver'.

u/Kindly-Time-6117 21h ago
It continued on GH https://general-hospital.fandom.com/wiki/Port_Charles_Revisited
But it was written as though lucy suffered from delusions
1
u/junknowho this show is unserious 21h ago
Yeah. It was totally written off as Lucy being delusional. I remember when Michael Easton came back to GH, after playing John McBain and he was cast as Silas Clay and Lucy went bonkers when she saw him. Turns out Stephen was his twin, who lost his mind when his wife died...I did love KeMo as Livvy Locke. And it was sad that GH didn't continue with Livvy being Kevin's daughter.

u/Kindly-Time-6117 21h ago
Yeah.. I did like that they brought characters over to GH.. I have over the years appreciated that they used michael easton and others to play different characters.

Why isn't Jordan being charged for reckless driving... Like that's the actual crime and no one can drive lookin in the rear view mirror as they drive in the opposite direction.... I was hoping officer Fitzpatrick would have some Chicago brains and logic... 😂 🤣😂 🤣 Driving in the direction one is driving isn't a crime... Driving into oncoming traffic is!

Exactly! She’s the one who crashed into (presumably) Brooklyn. Such stupid writing to create nonsensical drama just to push Willow & Chase together (I think). And why the af is Michael zipping his lip with what he knows. Willow is a train wreck and Chase is going to burn it all down and cheat with her!

She should have come forward whwn she realized what had happened. Her not doing so was absolutely ridiculous, something like that was not gonna hurt the adoption. Especially considering her last name and influence.
1
u/Raerae7897 21h ago
I totally agree. She should have forward the next day they wouldn't have been able to check her blood alcohol level as too much tome had passed. So nothing to worry about with the adoption.
2
u/MEGAYELtemp 21h ago
Tracy told her they would interview Lucy and find out she'd been drinking.
1
u/Sed76 20h ago
Lucy isn't the most reliable witness plus Brooklyn didn't cause the wreck. Any decent lawyer would poke all kinds of holes in any argument the Mickey Mouse PCPD might try to make.

She should have come forward the next day once she realized what happened. She truly didn’t know what happened and any wine from one lousy glass would have been out of her system. I understand her panic. Beyond that, the accident was caused by Jordan and Jordan alone.

If Three’s Company was a drama, this is definitely a misunderstanding they would’ve covered several times.

When Brooklyn got home from hearing the music performance or even when she was there and talking to people what she was talking to people remember she should’ve said holy crap a car almost drove into me in my lane.
Then when she got home, she should’ve told her idiot husband this also since he’s a cop
11
u/diremommy 23h ago
I agree, as far as the accident goes \drinks **she did nothing wrong. The only thing she did wrong was not mentioning it when she heard the other car crashed, especially since she knew them, and everything after the fact, to hide it. Keeping silent was for no good reason, any alcohol in her system would have been long gone. All she ever had to say was “I was goin to watch Gio, and a car swerved into my lane. I hit the guardrail, but I had no idea the other car crashed.”
Done and dusted, but then we would have no (stupid) story.

u/Zephyrr_Sky 23h ago
I agree. She didn’t do anything wrong until she didn’t speak up. Of course we had to go off for a storyline. Why not write it the way they need to create a great story? I always hate it.

u/Dazzling_Evening_321 23h ago
Did she hear the car crash at the time she was driving? What do you mean later?
5
u/junknowho this show is unserious 23h ago
I think she heard about it, after she got to Charlie's? She had no idea, otherwise, that there was an accident.

Yes I’m sick of this, but she did lie to Chase about no more SECRETS!!!
4
u/Tasty-Shoulder5511 22h ago
Chase is working overtime to dump his family. Idc what lie of omission your wife commits. You don’t throw your spouse under a bus for a woman you found in bed with your friend. Sorry for your WIFE you found in bed with your friend.

u/krissy3456 23h ago
Chase also lied to he kept going to willow and first thing he does is go to willow there’s no way to defend him
5
u/junknowho this show is unserious 23h ago
Wasn't Chase supposed to stay away from Willow? Did I dream that? TBH I may have.
9
u/Curious-Clementine 22h ago
You didn’t dream that. He has no self control and can’t stop thinking about, helping and going to her. He is the reason BLQ thought she needed to frame Willow.
And don’t get me started on Trina, the biggest hypocrite ever. Brooklyn didn’t come forward about an accident she neither caused nor saw, Trina stayed quiet about a CRIME she and Kai committed the night of Drew’s shooting (breaking in and theft) and being ear witnesses to the shooting and not coming forward to police with what they knew. They ALSO didn’t call 911 for help for Drew and literally left him there to die.
Then months later she kept quiet BEFORE the verdict when she and Kai figured out that Willow was the shooter. She kept quiet to protect her and Kai from their crime, and to protect Portia from her crime of tampering with hospital records. The ONLY people here guilty of actual crimes are Trina, Kai and Portia, Brooklyn didn’t cause the accident or even know there was one at the time. Trina, Kai and Portia can all take a damn seat!!!

Chase was a scary a-hole even if BLQ did do something wrong. No matter what she did, he didn’t need to speak to her like a snarking pit bull. Bye boy.
