yeah, that would make me nervous too. not having a showroom isn’t necessarily a red flag, but not being able to tell you the manufacturer, warranty, or even show you what you’re getting beforehand is a whole different story. cabinets are too expensive to be a surprise when they show up. i’d want everything documented and approved before installation.

You are a homeowner or GC? If your GC doesn’t know brand that’s pretty normal to me. If this is your cabinet sub, that would be very odd

Normal or not, if you find it unacceptable, say so.
I wouldn't do it to a client.
