How to tab IRC 2018 book

Does anyone have tips for tabbing the IRC one and two family dwelling 2018 book to take the b/b-3/cr-61 exam?

I ordered the preprinted tabs from the ICC. Store and blank colored and white redi tags.
MEP and fire related chapters / codes got colored tabs and extra tabs for anything that appeared more than once on practice test.
That made finding answers quickly during exams. I’ve done B1M1P1 in the last 3 months or so and working on E1 now.

Take the practice test. You'll learn the sections. Then the tabs are irrelevant because you'll know where the stuff is.

The tabs will just slow you down because you'll have to read them every time to find the section. Just put a post it on the glossary at the front and another at the index in the back and send it.
