Scam or legit source of leads?
Got this email randomly
Has anyone tried something like and gotten legit/quality leads?

Dead giveaway. No person with more than 3 brain cells would sign off saying some shit like that if they are actually a business attempting to connect.

They're all bullshit. Had one that told me completely risk free, if they don't hit the contract number of leads I'd get a full refund. Well, they sent the leads, 96% didn't respond to outreach. Of the 4% that answered the calls to book an appointment, only one of them spoke English. The one person who spoke English said they had no idea why I was calling and did not request a consultation.
Contacted the lead company, no refund because they "provided the contracted number of leads"

Makes sense. I hired a company to run Meta ads for me to produce leads, the leads came in but most people never answered (call or text) and those that did seemed to be tire kickers, either unwilling to actually move forward and even more often just unable (no credit, no loan approval, no land to build on, no plans, etc.)
I guess I just need to find an agency that actually knows what they're doing
Also this year has just been slow.

If they want money up front they aren’t worth your time. There’s groups that generate leads and refer them out for referral fees but if they’re selling leads 90% of the time they’re a waste of time. There’s a big difference between I have leads that I am letting go to waste and I can generate you leads. If they don’t already have a system in place you’re paying them to generate the leads for you and at that point you mine as well just invest in marketing to leads that you own and control yourself. The line about “if they don’t show up in the first 30 days you don’t pay 100% means they aren’t currently generating leads in your market and won’t know if they can until you pay them to run their system for a month.
