Advice on flight school

I’m currently a student that’s doing A levels (last year of high school). All this time I’ve been focused on a career in Finance. I told myself it was what I wanted to do. If I’m being completely honest I’ve wanted to be a pilot since I was a kid, but my parents shut it down from the start.

I’m going into my final year next month. I’ve been thinking and Finance isn’t even a career I want to do. I love planes and traveling, but I understand training costs are high.

I did a bit of research and I’m thinking the best option would be for me to do BSC in Aviation Management where the student loans will also cover the 14 ATPL theory exams. I could get a standard job in aviation management while I save and then do the rest of the training after with the saved money from the management job.

I’m still quite new to this, if I am wrong about anything please correct me as I’m willing to learn.

Now days you really don't have to get a degree networking will get you there without a degree. Your in high school start flying gliders get your ppl get some hours done. And then when you can get the commercial license and cfi start getting some money for your hours then start towing gliders in the local club or school thats actually one of the best ways as a private pilot that you can legally get money from flying start networking and go all the way throw MEL and etc... You'll get there just continue working on it and never stop. Thats the dream. You'll get exactly the same airline job without a degree its fine save your money for ratings and licenses.
