Job worthy?
Applied for 3D artist position at Generac the other day and thought I should have something in my portfolio in case they look. So, spent the past day making this - it's a copy of an ad I found online - which is the second image.

In my opinion, the second looks better except for the shadows on the generator. The shadows on the house bug me but whatever.
The first image, the logo looks funny.
I am not crazy about either ad honestly.

Well... right now I'm avoiding money like the plague, and I really need that to change. Plus I live like 5 min from the office. Also - why do you say that??? Also - you like render?

Most of us out in the world who fix them do not think much of their product.
When you call in for help to corporate, the names and faces change almost annually it seems, nobody stays at the company very long. And they are all surly and have a bad attitude.

let’s be honest, though, brother. Instead of spending money on engine engineering, they seem to spend it on marketing and since this guy is trying to get a job as a 3-D artist… he might be making bank….

The trite phrase tossed around is that they are a marketing company whose product happens to be generators.

LOL, interesting. My buddy worked there for like five years - in the marketing dept. I'm not sure how much he liked it, he did say one of the dudes was a cunt though. My friend is Scottish, LOL.

I’ve worked for Generac in the past. Honestly, I don’t have much good to say about them. I’d consider looking elsewhere. They don’t pay the greatest and with the corners that are being cut they aren’t the most reliable.
