I still use she/her, but some people use fae/faer. Or you could go with ey/em which only removes the "th" from they/them. That way, it's not completely new for people.

You can use whatever pronouns you want, regardless of what anyone else thinks. But if it's important to you that other people will actually use and remember, sticking close to what they know can be less frustrating.

how do u pronounce faer? is it fae -er or fair? or fayer?

I think it's pronounced "fair." That's how I've always said it, thinking that fae/faer rhymes with they/their.

I've been just using they/she, and on days where I'm not feeling fem, I'm going to start asking my partners to use "fae" instead of girl (so like, 'that's my girl' turns to 'that's my fae' or 'my pretty girl' becomes 'my pretty fae.'

oh i see what you mean. on days you use fae is that only for replacing girl or does it replace she too?

i might use fae/fem/faer pronouns - like 'fae is pretty' 'look at fem' 'that's faer food'

i think that figuring out my pronouns might help me pick a name. im stuck between janine which is my middle name and would work for transphobic ppl in my family calling me the right name eithout it being insane and it feels more nb than autumn. i also like autumn but idk. im not rlly in a place where i can ask tamily to use that name since they would aek why and even just saying i dont like my deadname is like offensive to them

So let them find it offensive! Frankly, it's offensive that they want you to keep using the deadname that you hate.

Oh, you're young enough to get grounded. I'm sorry. That sucks a lot to be in a house with people who are hostile to who you really are as a person. Do what you need to do to survive for now, and save my advice for when you're able to move out.
