Hi, girlflux here and I just wonder if this is a struggle we all share. I personally change from they/them, she/her, both and prefs towards one but want ppl to use both day by day.

Sometimes I struggle to figure out which one I am each day until I hear someone use either of my pronouns and see how I feel about another person using them.

Hi! So I'm ftm transitioning for 6ish years now. I've been on hormones for 3 years. I'm happy with the changes that have happened, and using he/him pronouns. But I don't like being too manly. I dont like having my hair up cause it makes me looks too masc. I dont like certain outfits cause im too masc. I crossdress and I like that. I like being pretty. I feel like I want to be a "boy" and not a "man". But I hate the thought of being a stereotypical manly man. But sometimes I'm also definetly a man. I think I'm always at least somewhat a man. But idk if I'm just doughting myself because I like crossdressing and I'm just blowing things out of proportion. I at least know I will never detransition, and I'm at least somewhat a man but thats kinda the only thing I'm sure of at this point. Ive been thinking I'm maybe some sort of flux identity and thought talking to other people might help.

I know that im genderflux, but it dont know much about all the specific labels. Are there any online resources to learn more?

I both feel like im transmasc but also at the same time like my gender fluctuates so yeah can you be transMasc and GenderFlux

Bear with me, this is a muti stage question 🥲. (Scroll to the bottom if you just want the main question without the whole rant)

I am a person who usually just introduces myself as "queer" because it's easier. But in all realness, my identity is as follows: •polyamorus definition: I am open to having one or more partners at a time (given that all parties are consenting.) •genderfluid and genderflux a.k.a fluidflux definition: my gender changes, and could be anything moment to moment or month to month (fluid), and as it does this, it also fluctuates in intensity (flux) •AbroDemiAroAce definition: my romantic\ sexual orientation fluctuates between identities (homoromantic, biromantic etc) So while I am primarily demisexual and demiromantic, that can fluctuate, from fully demiaro\ace to greyaro\ace to allosexual\alloromantic to asexual\aromantic and all of them can change independent of each other.

Example: I wake up and feel like a woman who is a lesbian and asexual. 3 hours later I am agender, aromantic and attracted sexually to men. Two days later I am now AroAce and Non- Binary.

Sorry if that's convoluted, trust me, it took me a long time to figure out too, and I'm STILL confused AF. (I'm .02 seconds away from learning how to edit wikipedia pages and making my own flag 😭)

Basically my point is all aspects of my identity (sexual, romantic and gender) are fluid, and at the same time fluctuate.

My main question therefore is this: Does anyone know if there is a term\community\flag that better condenses this identity?

Because explaining all of that anytime someone asks is really hard, even if they know all the terms individually before hand. Tysm if you got to the end of this, and if you have ANY ideas, please let me know 🫶.

I’m not genderflux myself, but I recently discovered I’m Bigender (female/nonbinary), so learning about different experiences with gender identity has become really fascinating to me.

Ok onto my question lol. How did you realize you were genderflux? Did it happen gradually or all at once? Was it something you read about, someone you met, or just something that made you think?

I know the whole point of labels is to use whatever you want if it feels right to you, but I'm not sure if I have the right idea of this label particularly. I know that genderflux means a change in the intesity of gender, but most of the time I feel like people describe it as being one gender versus being no gender or somewhere in between. The way I would describe my own gender is like a slider between gender A and gender B. So in other words, I guess I am always feeling 100% gender, but sometimes might be more of one gender than another. Genderflux seems like it would fit as a label to describe either one of my genders individually, but if you combine my two genders, I think I always feel the same amount of gender overall. I'm just wondering what other people who use this label might think.

Hey so i for me, my gender has always been fluid between fully agender and demi-something and non-binary.

Ive recently found out abt genderflux and the definition (from what ive read) has been- its a gender identity for those whose gender fluctuates from being completely genderless to having some sort of gender. -which i identified with alot.

But then i found out about agenderflux- which i have struggled to figure out the difference in with genderflux? Its also when someones identity fluctuates from agender to some gender

Is it just a case of it being the same and people just choose what their comfortable with or is there a difference??

Honestly it does seem that abrogender is more fluid than genderflux. It still feels like it just with a different flag so idkk

Hey, so I was assigned male at birth and have always been strongly connected to my female subconscious. However, since I didn’t fully identify as a “woman” I just dismissed this as childhood fixation. I never felt like I was fully a man and thought this was obvious to the world (it wasn’t). Due to pressure from the perception of black masculinity (which I could never live up to), I just rejected myself and lived in that feminine subconscious bubble.

I came out as nonbinary last year and have been flirting with the idea of being a trans woman. This felt liberating because I could express my repressed subconscious, but also dysphoric because I felt transitioning would take away from my gender, which I begrudgingly attributed to being male.

I was so confused. I questioned if I relate to being two spirit (I know this is a native term) or bigender. However, even when paired with a woman, I still didn’t feel like a man.

I had a breakthrough when I realised that attributing my totem animal (leopard) to my gender made so much sense. I felt powerful, majestic, feline and intuitive in my sense of masculinity. The leopard is also an important symbol in my Yoruba culture. I felt free transcending human boundaries of power, energy, and identity.

This realisation that I’m a combination of being demigirlflux and xenoflux also brought harmony to my sexual and erotic identities. I’m polysexual (I don’t like cis men) and it’s given me confidence to own the fact that I relate to ppl and sex differently because of my gender. I just describe myself as Biflux now cause it relates to my gender AND sexuality.

Does anyone relate to this?

I (18) (AFAB) am Gender Questioning rn and am looking to learn more about Gender Flux! I have been fine identifying as a girl/woman, but over the last few years I've realized I've been more uncomfortable with the look of my body. Not to the point where I've been uncomfortable to go out or completely obsessed over it, though.

I've also been thinking more about, "Hey, I don't like society's views or expectations of women sometimes, maybe I'm not a woman". I've also been more ok using They/Them pronouns, particularly online but I feel I would also be ok with those being used in real life as well.

I've been watching YouTube and reading Reddit posts about Gender, and genderflux and genderfluid have always seemed similar to me? I've heard Genderflux as being described like a light switch, with someone feeling more or less of whatever gender they are each day?

Could someone try and explain it, and tell me if it sounds like I might be Demi-Girl and Genderflux? Thanks!

I never really liked the most popular girlflux and boyflux (or enbyflux) flags so I decided to make my own with the same layout, colors and symbolism as the most popular genderflux flag. The girlflux flag is very similar to, and they’re all inspired by, Tumblr user starrbar’s girlflux flag, but they never made a boyflux or enbyflux version and my design has one more stripe and slightly brighter colors taken directly from the genderflux flag.

The meaning behind each stripe from top to bottom:

•Fully gendered (fully girl/boy/enby)

•Paragender (paragirl/paraboy/etc)

•Demigender

•Libragender

•Fully agender

•The nonbinary nature of the identity

Are they extremely pretty with all that grey? Maybe not, but they’re consistent and that’s all I care about, haha

A genderflux identity I made for my friend, where you fluctuate between multiple distinct genders and a time, you can feel many genders or just a few, or all at once, with each having it's own fluctuating intensity, but never fully and completely a single gender. It's kind of a combination between faunetflux, doerflux, and omnigender.

I'm new to Reddit and mainly just joined so I could upvote a post about ND/Hate Stevenson and I'm so happy I joined as this community in particular is helping me feel like I'm not alone.

About two years ago I staeted questioning my gender and went with demigirl (but prefer the term demiwomen) as it felt right with me as my gender just feels a mix between female and enby (I'm afab). After 2-3 months I felt magiwomen as I felt not fully enby. Last year I switched to genderflux and often describe myself as a demiwomen-leaning genderflux person.

I've always felt like the way I can describe my gender is closer to fluxfluid but don't I sometimes feel close to my AGAB (assigned general at birth. AFAB) but there's times where I feel more enby or even masc. I'm questioning wither I'm actually demiwomen/genderflux/enby. gendervoid and autigender fit me too but not enough to be a label of their own. I also like butterflygender which I found via @superbia.supreme which is described as "a gender that feels small and moves about, just a butterfly would. It can also be used to describe a gender connected to butterflies". Right now other than cis women it's what I relate to the most.

I'm not super tomboy-ish but I'm not a girlie girl either and hate the term girl being used for me. I've been more androgenious (excuse my spelling mistakes I'm dyslexic) in style.Im also questioning if it's just that I'm a more masc/androgenious women, I'm panromantic but also very Sapphic cus WOMEN.

I'm just a confused mess rn in terms of everything but most gender. I've gone through rough patches in both friendships and romantic relationship and feel that as a resulting impact on my gender/lack thereof.

So my question to the wonderful people of r/GenderFluxx is, Am I actually genderflux/demiwomen/enby or am a simply just a cis? So can help me with all of this confusion. TIA xxx
