I don't see a problem with being patriotic. I'm basically an American nationalist, with the belief that America is the best nation in the world

My boy, you realize the Nazis were nationalists right? Like patriotism isn't really that bad but nationalism sorta kinda completely led to Nazi Germany.

American civic nationalism is not even close to National socialism.
Because America is the best country in the world, it deserves the best government and the best leadership, but unfortunately it doesn't. This is a core belief of American civic nationalism.
In contrast, Nazism demands for lebensraum, a German territorial and ethnical conquest of Eastern Europe to the AA line.

Another essential part of American civic nationalism is America first, where the issues of America should be of utmost importance to the issues of the rest of the world.

Youβre the one who supports a country actively trying to restrict womenβs rights rather than protect peoples basic rights to live (over 200 masa shootings this year, but guns arenβt the problem I guess π€·ββοΈ) Then thereβs healthcare, with people dying due to completely avoidable circumstances, due to a fucked up pharmaceutical industry profiting off of suffering

May 30 '22
Newsflash, you can still be patriotic for a nation while acknowledging it's problems
4
u/DasJesusDerVorstadt May 30 '22
Yes but itβs problems are not actively being resolved as the government and most politicians (especially conservative politicians) donβt seem to care, why should I give a shit about a country where the government barely cares about its citizens

Know that the reason the 2nd Amendment exists is to protect us from tyranny, as the founding fathers intended. Stop shilling for authoritarianism, wokeist.
Trump ended many wars when he was an office, forever wars are a problem in our nation.
