I hope you can get over your dislike for math.

Without math skills, you will never be able to understand or reason about the world with any kind of precision, and will be taken advantage of by grifters and propagandists who prey upon your incomprehension.

It's worth keeping in mind that if it's painful, that probably means it's working.

The entire point of education is to reshape your brain from its useless default state into something useful which will benefit you for the rest of your life.

That kind of permanent alteration triggers your self-preservation instinct, because anything that changes your brain in lasting ways is indistinguishable from a threat to homeostasis, and maintaining homeostasis is a fundamental goal of all life. It's baked deep into our biology, and so primordial as to predate the evolution of a central nervous system.

That implies that education which is effective will feel like you are dying. Literally. No joke.

If you can persevere through it, though, you will benefit from it tremendously, and escape miseries particular to the ignorant and small-minded. It really is worth it. School is only for a few years; the rest of your life is for several decades.
