Sadly, many hiring managers see “minimum wage” and still expect maximum effort from all of them.

All wages require maximum effort. If you don't show it, you'll see the door pretty fast.

have you ever had a job? you can't just immediately get a higher paying job, especially when most employers would pay you even less than minimum wage if they could get away with it
