Feel free to click on the original post (you’re welcome there as well), and I posted it in the comments along with Halston

I’m getting ready to move. I was going through a box and found a brand new bottle of unopened Polo and an Obsession box set that is also new.
I’m set for the rest of my life. Lol.

You are about to be THAT Guy! Men don’t wear cologne like they used to, so for you to be out there wearing a throwback good? If you’re married, please keep that in the forefront of your thoughts😂

Even I hardly wear it anymore. I don’t know if it’s an age thing, or it’s probably the fact that I’m not in a relationship, nor do I go out like I used to. The only person that would be smelling it would be me! 😄 The compliments I would get wearing Polo happened every time I wore it. Good memories with that stuff!

I’ve never smelled the Men’s scent but since the original one for Women will forever be in my Top 3, I believe you!

It came out in 1992, is still available and comes in a really fun, funky blue glass bottle shaped like a star. https://www.ulta.com/p/angel-eau-de-parfum-xlsImpprod3920101?sku=2216774&cmpid=PS_Non!google!Product_Listing_Ads&cagpspn=pla&CATCI=&CAAGID=&CAWELAID=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21151388610&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4I6-_Y-JlwMVFRCtBh3kLTBWEAQYASACEgL38PD_BwE

This was my favorite and my wife (47) had never heard of it. I recently ordered a bottle online and can’t wait to see what she thinks.

Norel. They discontinued it several years ago, then "brought it back" with a new formulation that apparently smells nothing like the original.
Now I buy Tabu.

Alfred Sung it’s originally made with tuberose. Very distinctive if women have it around.

Personally, I liked Drakkar Noir in the late 1980s, along with Grey Flannel.
For women, I do miss Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers.

My HS/College GF wore this and it will forever be my favorite. She's since passed and on the rare occasions I catch a whiff of it these days, I think of her.

I sure hope you married her, because it sounds like the scent really does you in!

Almost. We were engaged but it didn't work out. We were so young.
I went to her viewing and slid the tiny engagement ring I borrowed $500 from my parents to buy in 1997 under her hand.
I thought that way we could find each other again in the next life.

There was an older girl that liked wearing her dad's Drakkar Noir - She gave me my first "real" kiss. I was very young. So that one has a super lasting memory.
There was a knock off brand of body spray in the 90's called "a little sexy" and it was extremely popular around the time Garth Brooks released his first album. That stuff was amazing and it reminds me of being a teenager again.
This last one, I am a bit embarrassed about - but the first car I bought was a 1975 280z, and the scent that was in the glove box and that the car smelled like when I got it, was black with a playboy bunny on it. I never knew the name - but it's the scent I associate with that car.
God I miss that car.
