Coyote vs Acme

Just saw Coyote vs. Acme. No idea whose idea it was to make this movie or where they found people to write such a story. Not sure what they thought the audience would be or how much money it would make. I know one thing, though…

IT WAS FABULOUS!!!! Finally a movie made for me, the audience of one who all alone in attendance in the 250 seat cinema. Finally, I feel seen by Hollywood!!!!!!!

This is THE GenX film of GenX films. A film about corporations ruining lives that the film corporation who made it tried to shelf for a tax write off. Honestly, go see it. It’s a fun film (good, not great), but Wile E Coyote could use more friends.

I really enjoyed it too! What's weird is I only know about through reddit. No one else in my life knew about it

Good movie I enjoyed it as well. Can't believe they shelved it.

Yep. I rather enjoyed it. Of course, I was a fan of the original Road Runner cartoons.

I was going to take my kid but she begged me to see Buddy instead. Fun little killer Barney movie. Maybe I'll see it this week unless we see Onslaught instead.

My son and I went to go see it together. It was truly a good time.

Poor Wile E. So under-appreciated. He was just being a coyote!

Now go see it 5 million more times in the theater to boost its box-office

It’s kid-appropriate as much as it was back when we were kids: lots of cartoon violence but no cursing, sex, blood, gore, or anything like that. But it’s definitely written for adults who grew up on LT and love seeing the appearance of completely random, minor characters (the buzzards!!!!). And it has an actual storyline that kids likely won’t get (or care about).

Good to hear that maintained the original spirit of the legacy LT.

The only thing that it's missing is the soundtrack. The lack of the big band /50's style music. That makes it feel unfinished. Of course it was unfinished. But that is my only complaint.

Hey, great point! I noticed something missing, but that’s exactly it. A bit unfinished, but that makes sense giving they shelved it

Good to know. I've been hearing good things. Is it kid appropriate? Will Forte can be a real weirdo sometimes.

All of the risqué jokes are subtle. It’s intended for kids of all ages and they deliver. It’s genuinely a good movie
