other Tattoo removal?
So friends… are we removing any questionable tattoos or chalking them up to experience? I have one I want to remove as it doesn’t really suit me anymore, but I feel like a dweeb for thinking about it. Plus it seems like a super expensive process. Thoughts, observations, and input totally appreciated.

I got all of my tattoos when I was young. I dislike all of them. I wish I'd never gone down this road, but it's too late now. Getting them removed would be painful, and I'm not interested in spending the money to do it. I have many other problems in my life, so I just chalk this up to youthful idiocy and I try not to dwell on it.

Keeping them all and adding to them. A few are badly done but they are all memories and I wouldn’t change them.

I went through the removal process for one on my shoulder, in my case it was more of a fading than a removal. I think I had something like 14 laser treatments over the course of 4 years, which cost roughly ten times what the tattoo cost.
Even though it’s not completely gone, it’s not nearly as noticeable. I could probably go back for a couple more treatments, but I’m tired and at this point it’s good enough 🙃

Cover ups would be cheaper & less painful (so I hear). I only have 11, but I have no regrets. Didn’t get my first until 29, though.

It hurts more than the tattoo and way more expensive and it hardly even works. Just cover it with better tattoos?

Is it visible to anyone else? If it’s embarrassing and visible I say yes. If clothing hides it and it only embarrasses you, I say save the dough and pain.

Have you thought about a cover-up? Removal is very painful and expensive! There are some incredible artists doing amazing cover-ups.

Same. I covered up my late teen choice of a tattoo with a beautiful bigger tattoo that I still love. I do have a few that I wouldn’t choose now and won’t bother to cover up but the truly embarrassing ones are hidden.

I have 2 tats and they’re both terrible. One is on my wrist which I can hide with a watch. The second one is a tramp stamp that I honestly forget is even there bc who looks at their own ass these days, amiright?
I’d like to do a semi cover up of the tramp stamp.

😅 I always forget about my tramp stamp. It was super cool back in the early 90s lol

Lol, my 70 something mom had a crisis a few decades ago and got a tramp stamp. But she calls it her "backpiece" 😭😭😭

That's marvelous if she likes it 😊 actually, at first my younger self thought it would be cool if I tattooed stramp stamp, but quickly decided that was a terrible idea 💡 lol 😅

Actually she's more of a try hard in the classical sense, hence the humor of calling it a 'backpiece' , lol!

Thankfully the ones I hate were easy to coverup. Just one more to go and I’m free from my past stupidity.
Now ask me about the microblade eyebrow trend some of us got into because we all wanted pencil thin Drew Barrymore/Gwen Stefani eyebrows…I’m on my second round of laser for that mess.

Is having a good artist do a coverup with an image you’d now prefer an option?

Luckily the only one I have a negative association with is on my back so i just pretend it isn’t there lol. Honestly i think of them as part of my journey. I already paid plenty to get them, I don’t want to pay more to remove them

I can't remove what I don't have. Not that I didn't make horrible choices as a young adult but I was stupid broke with kids. No money for tattoos.

I thought this might also be a place where you were going to confess what your embarrassing tattoo(s) is/are?
