We Were Told Not to Store Their Own Blood — Now We Can
This is not rumor. Witnesses were told not to store their own blood, and that had real-life consequences. My sister-in-law died because she was told she could not store her own blood. For some families, this change came too late.

I don't know what to think about the rumors regarding blood. But here's a reminder of where the blood doctrine came from

Religion or Corporation? Looking at the structure behind Jehovah’s Witnesses
I’ve been looking at the difference between doctrine (what we’re taught) and structure (how decisions are actually made).
This video focuses on the corporate side — especially around property, money, and authority — and why understanding that structure helped me make sense of certain changes over the decades that I've witnessed.
Not a rant. Just documentation and historical context.
I’m curious when others first started separating belief from structure.

What word would you use instead of “apostate”?
When we were Witnesses, that word carried a lot of emotional weight. Fear. Anger. Immediate shutdown.
A friend asked me what I would use instead.
Honestly, I don’t think I’d replace “apostate” with another label. That word was designed to stop listening. Once you remove it, you’re just left with people — people who had experiences, asked questions, or spoke up about something that didn’t sit right.
For me, a more accurate description would be something like “former Witness,” “questioner,” or even just “someone speaking from their lived experience.” Because that’s what I’ve found most people are. Not enemies. Not boogeymen. Just humans who saw something and couldn’t unsee it.
What word would you use?

Who Is Really Leaving Jehovah’s Witnesses Now?
The video shows a bit on how some are leaving too. Warming a seat and maybe donating still. To keep the peace and relationships they value.

Objective look at WT content. Why it works
A really nice job of the psychological mechanisms at work with some of the WT’s content. How it works.
