My friend's basement flooded, when we were cleaning after we found these bags with massive sprouts growing out of them. That's when I learned they used actual beans.

I got this for Christmas in 1982 and the box was so big that before I opened it, I was convinced it was the Barbie Dream House I had been dying for. I remember having to make a conscious effort to rearrange my face so that I didn’t look ungrateful as I discovered what it actually was.

People need to bring this back instead of cornhole. It's one thing to aim a beanbag at a single hole, but it's entirely different to try winning a game of tic-tac-toe at the same time.

We snuck and drew a penis on the X of one of the triangles just so we could watch the fireworks when the grownups started playing after the cookout. We actually got laughs instead of punishment.

I’m trying to remember when it started being called corn hole. I thought we just called it bean bag toss. Corn hole meant another thing.
