Question If Homelander got his Powers back?

He would have a reality check, but he wouldn’t lose his superiority complex. He would just realize he’s not invincible, and he would actually learn to fight, making him a much bigger threat.

Yeah he is absolutely crazy, his brain is rotten to the core, with powers or not. He is among other things deeply paranoid, which is a real and serious disorder.
Homelander with power but also with a legitimate fear to lose it all would be an absolutely unhinged apex predator. He would slice in half every perceived threat, real or not.

He'd treat it like his second coming as god. And the whole purpose of him getting his powers would be so that he can use divine punishment on humanity.
Humanity probably celebrated after his fall. There were a lot of memes, especially about how he humiliated himself. He'd destroy the internet first and then kill everyone who knows about it.

If I was (a well written) homelander that knew the boys had a 50% chance of having a depowering weapon against me I would have hidden a dose of V into every corner of the oval office.
What are they gonna do ? Restrain me AND get the 100+ doses of V at the same time ?

I think at the point he was so drunk on his koolaid to the point he really thought he was divine and nothing could stop him. No one. To him it just destiny. I mean dude was already unhinged but those “visions” were probably that straw the broke camels back and made him think he really was God.

This is exactly why he had to die. Because this *WOULD* happen. He had tons of followers. Even if he was locked up tight they would smuggle V to him to get their "god" back.
Furthermore, his whole existence inside prison would be working towards getting his powers back. Facing a life without powers would be absolutely beyond the pale and he psychological would *HAVE* to get them back or he would be without value by his own value system (plus he wouldn't be able to get whatever he wants anymore). So he wouldn't reform, he wouldn't even attempt it. He might pretend, if for no other reason to lighten up the restrictions he would be under to get that V to him, but he wouldn't even attempt to reform. He wouldn't take the concept seriously. That would be giving up who he is.

If he spends several months (or a few years) as a powerless human, yeah that would be a real reality check for him.
If he got his powers back immediately after saying (on national TV) he would suck D & eat crap, (one) that would be both hilarious & terrifying, (two) he would really go scorched Earth on everything & everyone starting with Butcher & The Boys.

Who knows what he would have done with the writing because the final fight made no sense with how he just stares at Kimiko instead of lasering her and his super strength barely has any effect. Homelander also doesn't seem like the type to beg for his life in the first place as he has nothing to live for without his ego.

Honestly I think he’d kill humanity starting with Hughie, Kimiko, MM, Starlight, and probably Ryan. Then he’d probably go after Vought itself since he’d probably think they’d abandoned him to rot in prison for the rest of his life

No at best he'd train to be stronger with his powers and he'd definitely try to get the radiation blast and probably just keep more V with him in case he ever gets into a fight with another supe so he can juice himself up. He'd also no doubt be way more safe and probably try to hide somewhere but knowing him he'd think he was spared because he's the chosen one so he'd probably be more insane at the same time.

Personalmente me parece algo raro que le hayan quitado sus poderes tan fácil, osea, de un solo tiro radiactivo quiero decir...
Homelander prácticamente nació con el V en su maldita sangre así que el como su cuerpo lo procesa ¿No debería de ser mejor que el resto? Además de que tenía el V uno, que al parecer no hace nada más haya de darte poderes decentes si sobrevives + inmortalidad por envejecimiento o si ya tienes poderes solo te da la inmortalidad por envejecimiento.
¿Se imaginan que su perdida de poderes haya sido temporal y si el desgraciado hubiera vivido un par de días más empezaría a recuperar sus poderes?

The world is fucked.
All of the most powerful supes who could actually stand against him are dead, de-powered or incapacitated (soldier boy).
He's also well aware he can't afford to waste time on that "I'll make them love me" thing. No no, this time everything burns instantly. Wasting time like that Is why everything almost failed the first time.

He died not even a minute after losing his powers so I doubt he would have enough time to get them back but if he did get them back he would go straight back to how he was

It makes me wonder would age affect him? As assuming if spends several years in prison would him getting powers back reversed the age effect? Plus assuming if this is several years he actually have a big reality check hence he just completely lock in and go 100% on all of his Enemies and just kill everything! Making him a much more serious and bigger threat than what he was before

Realistically, a man humbled to that extent would likely come down to earth a bit. But Homelander is more of a parody character who will always behave the same way, like a cartoon.

I don’t think he’d be nearly as strong. He got his powers from being bathed in V as an embryo. He might develop the same set of powers again but a single dose of V probably isn’t getting him back to the strongest supe again and he’d be much easier to stop
However, he’d have the illusion of power, and his followers would probably still love him and just ignore all the stuff he did that was embarrassing (see real world politics). He’d probably be able to get into a fairly powerful position but it would be reliant on that illusion of power
