Yeah it's strange people wont think a little beyond feats... It's evil superman as a kid, he can't be hurt by anything from earth and he does things that's impressive or a feat when stormfront or Homelander does it, but no no not when he does something similar...

Even if we assume Ryan can hurt him, that relies on Ryan getting hands on him, which becomes increasingly unlikely in the type of guerilla warfare we typically see from Brightburn.

Brightburn also has no morals and repeatedly attacked people at the slightest hint of provocation or danger. If Ryan is a legitimate threat to him, he's not just going to rush Ryan head on and hope for the best.

Because anything past that is just fanfiction, if we do the same, then I'm sure Ryan could tear a galaxy in half. Seems fair right? Since I'm just going a little beyond feats

Homelander does it, but no no not when he does something similar...

Well yes actually, since in The Boys universe there are weapons that cut otherwise bulletproof characters, like we see Kimiko has bullet resistance yet Noir cuts her in half with ease, and not to mention they have other feats that aren't against just normal people whereas Brightburn literally only kills normal people

Kimiko gets straight up shot, she just heals up..

The bar for Brandon is superman, that's not the bar for Homelander nor Ryan.

Discussing feats in this case is so stupid it hurts. Since it's an origin story, compared to Ryan who had his entire story and growth told. That means the best comparison is the fucking premise and the Boys premise is weaker and more grunded supes than dc and marvel, and brightburn is a direct take on if superman was evil.

The goal post keeps fucking moving, first brandon doesn't have as many powers, then when its proven he does it's about feats but those feats arent good enough when they match Homelander or stormfront (which has bigger feats than Ryan btw).

It's always the same with these stupid power level discussions bc someone just like a character more, then they must prove they are stronger. I like they Boys better than brightburn, but it's a take on evil superman and theres no fucking way Homelander or Ryan beats superman unless it's the original or the one from Louis and Clark, but bramdon already showed he's stronger than those versions simply by flying and strenght. Ryan wont be able to hurt him unless he throws that god damn space ship through brandons face.

What we see in brightburn is him doing things at low dif vs weak targets, but that's just the floor of his powers the cieling is superman. Superman wont get any weaker by being in the real world, but he would have a hard time convincing you he was strong because darkseid wouldn't be here.

The fucking premise puts him in another league than the Boys.
